|
Pondering about Sunday's Event I decided to do the following:
Hello everyone! I decided to make May 18th more of a Public affair as you may see, I expect that we'll attract some attention as we'll be passing by WBB, so we can expect some heckling and perhaps insults from non rpers. But that's ok! Ignore them.
For the procession I'll provide the bread, gold, wine, and other food to drop along the procession route, but I'd like each of you to bring as many of your guild-mates as possible and equip them with one monk's robe each to wear for the procession.
I'd like to try and get the community some positive exposure, so I'd also encourage you all to bring guild-recruiting books to toss out along the way or hand to people who may inquire, I'll be dropping books with the link to these forums myself, anyone without guild recruiting books is welcomed to do so as well.
The reason I'm asking we use hooded-monks robes is partially for show and role-play, and partially so that other guilds like the ZOG Cabal, Umbra and our Lycan and Vampire guilds can participate.
Please please ICQ/Mass PM and try to get as many rpers as possible there, as I will try to get a lot of screen-shots and Stratics coverage, I know it's all short notice, but this idea came to me a few moments ago.
Also, any and all non-rpers we meet, feel free to encourage them to attend the rest of the events and the meeting, while I'm sure we'll deal with some griefers we run the possibility of picking up a new community member or two!
The Link to the event itself can be found here...

It should be fun. When I did my rallies at Brit Bank we got heckled and it was all good. This is a good recruitment tool as well. Its very rare for people to see a mass of RPers moving through town. |

Guess you scrapped the special King's Tournament to turn this into a hippy event. But, a peace celebration that gets attacked... TeeHee.
We'll go easy on yas. Maaaaybe _________________

It should be great fun, if the parade itself attracts one or two new rpers it will make all the heckling we may or may not get totally worth it.
Plus, will be nice to have an event with a theme a little different that what we usually run/expect. Something fresh to discuss/talk about and so on. |

Yah I might jump on an alt to watch the parade. Wouldn't make sense to go in and watch after just attacking you guys at the fairgrounds. _________________

I'll be sure to hop on an alt as well, after the attack! It should be a fun day! _________________
