Title: Zorn

Rumored to be one of the most terrible monstrosities that ever existed in our lands, Zorn inhabited only the deepest, most foul corner of the most awful, forsaken dungeons. It is unknown just how any information about these creatures escaped into the world, and they could be made up fairy-tales, but there seem to be too many references to them in ancient parchments.
Physically, the Zorn were not particularly large, only standing about three to four feet in height. The entire top portion of a Zorn’s head was a large, razor-toothed mouth. They were red-skinned, but little else can be said about them physically.
It is said that the Zorn could walk through walls, as if the walls did not exist. They ate anything they pleased, and were capable of striking with a force which greatly exceeded their size. They negated all magic around them, and when slain by chance, they simply evaporated into thin air.
Speculation amongst ancient scrolls suggests that the Zorn consumed rocks and minerals, which is why they were only ever found within the deepest depths of dungeons. They would ambush unaware adventurers by biting into their foot as they stepped on top of the Zorn. Any use of magic against a Zorn would fail, and if necessary a Zorn could disappear through a wall. Similarly, a Zorn could ambush the unwary by materializing through a ceiling or wall as well.
It is rumored that the Zorn have been wiped from existence by the events which created the Underworld. If this is the case, then good riddance! Exploring the depths of such evil dungeons is difficult enough without some abomination materializing behind you and consuming you whole!
