Title: Ziguart Culture

Author: A Researcher

Although previously a topic of very little knowledge, it seems we’ve finally trumped the local gypsies in their intelligence of the elusive ziguart. We sought them here, we sought them there, we quite literally sought them everywhere.

Are they in the mountains, or are they in a well? Those elusive ziguarts were a thorn in every researcher’s side. Until now, that is. The last sighting was also the first: and that happened when the Ilshenar facet was just discovered.

But now we have two ziguarts in our zoo! How wonderful. I’m sure they’ll prove to be very interesting subjects to study. As for their history, they won’t be able to tell us much since they’re still very young and I doubt have practiced much in the way of Ziguart culture.

Culture! Yes, culture. Who knew that beasts like this could have such a thing? We thought them docile herd-like animals, much like a gaman. But no, it appears that these creatures had a tribal system of sorts revolving around a matriarchy. We know this because of the indentations surrounding the primary nesting site, and concluded that they must have encircled the nest in a form of reverence for the Mother.

Moreso than that, we have discovered small carved objects that look like toys, horns, and even models of themselves. These creatures obviously had a great deal of intelligence. One wonders if they may have even had the capability of speech!
