A bit about Warui Akurei's elven sub-race: The Valasse'Agar Quessir.
Valasse'Agar elves are generally viewed as the most civilized and, at the same time, the most contemptuous of other races. These are elves who have renounced their original heritage to become a more enlightened being. They do not consider themselves an Order, however, but an actual formed race. Elves are rarely born into Valasse'Agar. It is said to be nearly impossible to enter into the race, as they are extremely elitist.
There is a process of acceptance, including a Divine ritual. This is considered to be a new birth, reborn into an Elf's new race. These rituals are performed by any Elf who has already been born into the race.
This race does not place a great deal of value on society, preferring instead to live as they see fit, not as someone tells them to. They live in a constant relationship with nature, never taking more than they need, and giving back ever more. They have a primary goal of self improvement and achievement. They live by very high morals, always doing what is lawfully right, if not always what is best according to societies rules. Due to their perceived enlightenment and strong code of morals, these Elves tend to come off as arrogant and aloof.
They look at other species as inferior. However, even though they think it, they do not consciously treat anyone as inferior. Valasse'Agar hold a certain respect for everything in nature.
Though they do not always see non-elf races as equals, they do still treat them, as everything else, with respect. They deal almost exclusively with other elves, keeping any contact with other races to a minimum.
Since they try to live far from humankind, they are one of the least-seen races of the elves. Although they do not have a kingdom of their own, they permeate nearly every elf nation.
Since no Elf is born (in the literal sense) into this race, their physical features obviously vary. The aspects of appearance that can be controlled are always a concern. The Valasse'Agar take grooming and dress very seriously, and are usually quite egotistical over it. One will *very* rarely see an Elf of this race with disheveled hair, or uncrisp clothing.
Even during battle, these Elves are constantly aware of their appearance, and will even be found checking their reflections in near-by puddles of their foe's blood. The dress varies depending on the occasion. These Elves will be found wearing fine silks or high quality metals. They are drawn to more natural colours, such as browns, tans, and shades between white and black.
