Vincent, the Brigand Master came here today with his men and a Tinker, demanding if I recognized the man and if I knew anything about a Shadow Tuning Fork. Well, that was a fine way to treat an old friend, not so much as a hello for a year and bust in here!

However, he told me what the tuning fork is, and more importantly what it can do. Now I wish I did know who that scraggly Tinker was, as I would love to get my hands on the Tuning fork. Vincent has agreed to a share of the profits for favors he owes me, if he can find it. According to the Tinker he hid it somewhere in Ilshenar where nobody can find it. Well, we can assume he means somewhere very dangerous, and this Ratman Lair is hardly dangerous.

I have suggested he go check the undead fort southwest of here.
