Annunzio: Welcome everyone to the meeting of the Trinsic Council of Honor!
Annunzio: Martin couldn't be here today

Annunzio: To recap: the rule as it currently is listed
Annunzio: On our website is
Annunzio: You must not already be registered as a citizen of another City
Annunzio: And we were discussing if this should apply to player run cities
Annunzio: Which may eliminate alot of people
Sir Robert: I would say it should apply to player run cities outside the Trinsic Area
Annunzio: I think it was robert's idea to change it so that it would say
Annunzio: Yes, that's excatly it, hehe
Sir Robert: *sticks tongue out at Annunzio*
Annunzio: So what does everyone think?
Mistress Rose: *wonders where his mother is and what she would think about him sticking out his tongue*

Nynaeve: Would this rule mean they can't?

Sir Robert: The Scroll of Honor states it has to be a trinsic located guild.
Annunzio: Perhaps if they had a Trinsic outpost?
Nynaeve: Well I'm sure their
Nynaeve: aim is to help not to control
Nynaeve: so not having a vote shouldn't matter.
Annunzio: *nods*
Annunzio: Talon and Ana are both good friends of Trinsic
Nynaeve: Rough times and we all need to stick together.
Sir Robert: Aye.. After all.. We have here Lady LaBelle, whose guild is not Trinsic based either. *grin*
Annunzio: I think we should encourage them to help
Nynaeve: Aye...they are more Sanctus based as well.
Annunzio: Aye, and I would like to have an induction ceremony for her next week

Annunzio: This is a tricky issue
Annunzio: Because we don't want to exclude people who want to participate
Annunzio: But it weems odd to let people vote who are sworn to another town
Sir Robert: *nods*

Annunzio: How should we resolve the issue?
Mistress Rose: It could be like the Regency GP thing..
Annunzio: Should we put it up for a vote on the group?
Mistress Rose: Everyone welcomed but only those whom like swore loyality can vote.
Annunzio: Aye...
Annunzio: And there are two differnt issues here
Nynaeve: We could give guest votes if all we approve of unanimously.
Annunzio: There are citizens, who can vote for the mabyor
Annunzio: That is what I am speaking about
Annunzio: And therea are guilds who can vote in the council
Nynaeve: Ah..no..only Trinsic members should vote for mayor.
Annunzio: Which could be a separate issue
Annunzio: Well, in the past
Nynaeve: We should be open to "advisor" votes in counsel
Annunzio: The elsection has been open to all citizens of the town
Nynaeve: but Mayor should be a trinic issue.
Annunzio: *scratches head*
Annunzio: Hrm, now that's a new issue
Sir Robert: Maybe those guilds who are not Trinsic based but are advisors can be asked if the voting
Sir Robert: members are in a balance? to tip the scale
Annunzio: I had just assumed that the voting would be as in the past
Annunzio: Where all citizens can vote for their candidated
Annunzio: But the candidate must be from the Council
Annunzio: It seems to me awfully antidemocratic to forbid the townspeople
Annunzio: From electing their own mayor
LaBelle: *nods slowly*
Nynaeve: That's what I'm saying...
Annunzio: Oh ok
Nynaeve: only Trinsic townspeople vote for mayor.
Annunzio: Then I misunderstood
Annunzio: *nods*
Nynaeve: In counsel if there is a group who's participation we
Nynaeve: value
Nynaeve: such as La'Belle's Paladins
Nynaeve: then perhaps we could grant an "advisor" vote.
Annunzio: Aah I see
Nynaeve: Same as membership but the forms are kept.
Annunzio: To be honest, I hadn't thought about the voting in the Council
Annunzio: I was just considering voting for Mayor
Sir Robert: Maybe the advisor vote can be used if the main TCoH members cannot decide in a matter.
Annunzio: Ok ok
Nynaeve: Ouch
