The W.I.T Program

The WIT program (Warriors In Training) was a program that Umbra instituted over the course of about 2 years. It was something I Merci d'Rue conceptualized for the children of Sosaria. To maximize thier full potential. Yet I could not accomplish this task alone, I was helped by some of the best in the land, Warmaster and one day Wolf King of Stonegate Myrddin ab'Arawn, the Sagemaster Malikhia Wrenk, the fierce Enforcer Willow Smythe, and Umbra's beloved Matriarch Ceinwyn ab'Arawn.

All Umbrans of an ability to reproduce were required to submit one child to the W.I.T Program. Now this was a serious endeavor. The children that were bred of this program were being made into warriors, IE the perfect soldier. From embryo stage they began (the pregnant female) receiving growth shots, and resistance supplements. These were developed and contracted by the master alchemists of the cabal(who do not exist) in exchange for what else but blackrock. The growth was a modest yet quicker than normal growth of about 1 year per month. All aging was stopped according to the childs developement sometime between 12 and 16 years of age.

To speak abit about the training. They were taught to escape bindings, to endure interrogations, and pick locks. They were trained to withstand extremely high temperatures and low temperatures. This program was massive and not some fly by night one week turn around.They also underwent different quests called, rites of passage, in order to prove themselves. There was also classroom lessons they were well versed in history and their intelligence levels ran high. These children paid their dues, often enduring great things that most adults never experience. Did this make them perfect? No, while it gave them superb resistances and abilities, one thing many of them experienced was the emotional duress upon their mental stasis. Some did quite well. Some cracked, died, disappeared. Some are still very immature mentally even at an adult age. Umbra found out that the program while efficient had reprocussions that were to tough to implement on a massive scale anymore.

While the ideas of WIT are not dead and are carried on into Atonegate, they are not handled in the same way. Growth potions have been ended.

Also note the resistance potions, made the children almost resistant completely to fire and cold and poison. As well as creating an immune system that was impervious to illness.

Currently a new phase of W.I.T. is beginning soon in the new Kingdom of Stonegate, the King Myrddin ab'Arawn has assigned Willow once more to head it with the help of Ciara de'Vir one of W.I.T.'s own graduates. Many guest teachers are being utilized in this new program and it shows promise once more for the Warrior Kingdom of Stonegate.
