The Valek family is a race of vampires. Of this I have no doubt. They are a family of cross-breed vampires, a mixture of sorts. The family has had certain powers granted to them. Holy Moses, a member of the Valek family, was given both the powers of elven and vampire. He is fast, cunning, energetic and light, with the ability to remain awake at all times, never resting.
The Valek's each devoted a piece of their soul so they would become one and unite the people. Each Valek recieved a tattoo of a black dragon which symbolizes use. Soon after they began to draw hatred amongst one another and thus parted ways. The Valek's wanted absolute power over each other and because of this they were divided up into families, each holding a specific rank. Holy Moses' father, sister and uncle went on to live right beside the kingdom of Stormhaven.
They soon discovered that most of the Valeks died off. From that day forward, the remaining Valeks made a pact to stay family until the very end. They gave each other a piece of their souls and became united as true Valeks. Sharlock Valek, I am told, may unite with another and give a piece of his soul to his family, thus beginning a new clan of Valeks. Sharlock must find someone of elven or vampiric blood, or else corrupt the Valek bloodline.
