The Servants of IT

Title: The Servents of IT
Author: Geritain Dehugh
As written in one of my books I had concluded that some strange blood structured human copies, better known as The changelings, were the workings of Zaio and Wendle. However recent discoveries have led me to believe other wise.
Long before our time and that of even Wendles, there existed a small band of magicians who spent their life in devotion to creating a powerful book. The books name at this time is unknown but many of the Keepers call the book IT.
This answered one of my questions about Galistad, father of the woman I love, for he spoke of a devotion to a higher being or object known as IT.
With the aid of an ancient spirit known as Natasha. I begged that Natasha lead me to a warrior who could defeat Galistad and put my troubles behind me. As many might recall, I love his daughter but he does not want me to have anything to do with her.
His attempts to get rid of me have caused me much grief and so I seek to rid him from my life by finding a warrior to defeat him. The spirit of Natasha took me to Trinsic where I met with a man named Darimar. I believed that Darimar was a warrior who Natasha led me to for the purpose of hiring him to slay Galistad.
Unfortunately it turned out that Darimar is actually working with Galistad on a project to create a powerful tomb. They are the Keepers of IT. They took me in for I am somewhat a skilled scribe but to be honest I am a far better warrior and even more so then that a more skilled smith.
In any case they have allowed me access to some books in which I am working on translating. The book that they finish however will still remain in the language to only allow the educated to understand it. Through the many books I have read I have come to understand more of the origin of the Changelings.
They are created servants bound to a book called Book of the Dead.
A page was torn from the book long ago and came to the possession of Wendle. Wendle did not know the origin of the page but used it to aid his malicious plans.
One Keeper who took me by surprise when I set eyes on him was Bricrue.
But this was not Bricrue with the blackened eyes but that of the real Bricrue. I enquired as to how this could be and was answer with On my so called departure from the world, my body which laid in a field was not tended to. It was not properly checked to see if I still live nor was the body taken for proper burial preparations. One named Darimar who was in the location at the time found and healed me.
Though I desired to die I learned that Yosh was a traitoress subject to the project. It was the least I could do to repay the mans kindness for bringing me back from near death.
I am now a keeper and aid to the project of the creation of the great book. Among the keepers I recognize a few faces being those besides Bricrue, Tinnile and Wendle and of course Galistad. Galistad has given me word that no harm will come to me so long as I devote loyalty to the aid of the construction of the book as well as keeping a distance from my Kallie.
It surprises me that Wendle and Galistad are part of this coven for their past is only detailed as being that of corrupt ways. Perhaps some can change over time but I shall keep an eye on those who and act as a loyal subject to Darimar in the ways of reporting any amiss that might come from those two. It is said that the changelings were created to act as powerful warrior in protecting the progress of the books creation. However they are bound to the Book of the Dead being that they were created from one of its pages. Should the book be destroyed their existence will cease.
