The Pledge of Oblivion
Contained in this tome is the Pledge of Oblivion. The Pledge is to be given by the High Necromancer to the new Aspirant Necromancers joining the Order. It is to be given during the Ritual of the Dead. In this Pledge, the high Necromancer shall ask the Aspirant(s) questions. They are to give the expected answers. Thus begins the Pledge.
"State ye pitiful name(s) for Oblivion to hear!"
--Aspirants state names--
"Ye have come in search of the Ebon Skull to learn the dark arts of Necromancy. Are ye true to this cause?"
--Aspirants agree to this--
"Are ye ready to throw away ye previous life, for a better life in the service of Oblivion?"
--Aspirants agree to this--
"Will you attempt to end the Light and bring destruction to the foul Play King in the name of Oblivion?"
--Aspirants agree to this--
"Then let it be done! Ye all have now taken ye first step towards serving Oblivion! Welcome to the Order, my brethren!"
--The High Necromancer now casts Bless on each Aspirant. Aspirants now take formation behind the High Necromancer and any other Necromancer already in formation--
