The Oblivion's Oath

by Amon Amarth

Until the ends of time. Ost nagramee ramen. Till night doth come. Rieme let droh x'hum. And sweer darkness Takes all.

Oblivion's Oath

The Oblivion's Oath is simple: "Submit or die." When joining the knighthood, each knight dedicates body and soul utterly to the cause. All thoughts of self are submerged, sublimated. Yet this does not mean that knights may not think for themselves, which brought about the creation of the Code.

Sacrifice to Oblivion

Human, even thine appearance is distasteful to the night. I have chosen thee because Oblivion hath revealed unto me that ye have had thine chance and closed thine mind. Wilt thou rescind and bow to Oblivion? Wilt thou admit the lies thine life is bound to? Wilt thou now and before all stand here and curse the king that made thee so?

(Wait for the answer)

Pathetic mortal, ye cannot even understand these questions. You are not worthy of the night. You are not worthy of Oblivion! Death is the only company ye shall keep now. My Paladins, eviscerate this being IMMEDIATELY!
