You picked up this book because you just had to know, what in the heck is The Grimey Spoon?
Well, let me tell you!
The Grimey Spoon is a pub that is completely run by players!
& here's where you say, 'Yeah, Yeah, we've all heard of that before!'
& then I interject, 'Oh no, you haven't! This little tavern has a twist!
Each week night while the tavern is open it's being run by a different guild!
You never know who is going to be there, what they are going to be doing or when the kegs of beer will be drained!
So every night something new is going on!'
'Wow,' you exclaim! 'That is different. I wonder if my guild would like to host a night at The Grimey Spoon? But I bet it would be too much work.'
Then I exclaim, 'Oh no no! Hosting The Grimey Spoon is hardly any work at all! You just get together with 2 of your guild mates (or more & one mage preferred), pick a night you can all pitch in (from 6 to 8 CST) & then plan some fun games!'
'& if aren't feeling too creative, Eevee will even help you with that! You can do lotteries, door prizes, drinking games, scavenger hunts or whatever else you can think of.'
'Hosting The Grimey Tavern is a great way to get your guilds name out there, have fun with your guildmates & join in an event that involves the entire community!'
'& even if you aren't in a guild or you don't think hosting the pub is for you (though we can't imagine why not!) you can still come by any week night & join in the fun!'
'So what do you say, why don't you stop by The Grimey Pub & take a look! Or ICQ me, Eevee, & I will give a tour & any more information you would like!'
Then you run off giddy as a school girl to find your guildmates & tell them all about The Grimey Spoon.
