Title: Taming of Escalla Eater

The Adventures of Moonbear and Escalla
Our tale like most has a Fair Damsel (Escalla) and a Dashing Hero (Moonbear). Todays Adventure began when Escalla decided she wanted a pet dragon. I hope you take more pleasure in the tale then I did making it happen.
"OI! Moonie!" I, looked up and saw Escalla out my window sitting on her Unicorn.
"What now?" I thought as she came marching onto his porch and swung the door wide open. "Are ya busy?" she asked as she fluttered her eyelashes and tried to look cute.
"Oh Lord, what is it this time?" I sighed in resignation. Continuing to put away my things I wondered what caught her eye this time... A treasure map it MIGHT have been...or Earrings that match her top?... In any case, today was going be an eventful day I was sure. "I um..erm I want a Dragon." she said.
"You mean like the little lizard things...What are they called, Kimoto Dragons?"
"Nah, too small."
"A Swamp Dragon?"
"Nope too weak."
"A Drake Maybe?"
"No silly a Dragon."
My first thoughts were right....a Very eventful day...
"Oh no... I better make sure I bring Ressurection Scrolls and lots of um." (At the time Escalla was still having trouble casting 7th circle spells). I started rummaging through my chests and cabinets.
"Oh yeah we're gunna need um." She said like it was nothing. She started poking through my chests as well. Finally we find enough to last I hoped and off we went.
We both popped into the space outside of the Deamon Temple on Fire Isle. I readied my invis spell, but Escalla just charged in.
"Oh Boy, that's not good." I said to myself. A few seconds later I heard "oooOOOoOoO" Sighing to myself I started the motions to cast Ressurection and just as I finished Escalla's Ghost popped into existance next to me.
"Hey I found the Dragon!" she smiled like a hero who just got the Key to Britain.
"Next time toots, prepare your spell ahead of time." I couldn't help but smile too.
She snapped to attention like a soldier saluted me and barked "Yes Sir!" we both started laughing because all she was wearing was that death shroud.
Now we had a problem...she had no armor on and the dragon was curled up on her body. "Wait here I will lure it away, then you rush in for your stuff."
"Okay." And with that I was off. I stayed just out of range of the dragons breath and lured it out towards the entrance of the Temple. Escalla Ran got her things and came out to meet me. She wanted to tame it so I invised and she attempted to tame it...only problem was...She told it they would die together...ALOT!... It wasn't to happy with that...
All I could think is "At least she's Honest."
It turned and started chasing Escalla. Escalla was weaving between the trees and around the tumbled down buildings and was putting good space between herself and the dragon. Then...it took flight. Escalla who couldn't look over her shoulder and keep running like this, heard that it stopped, and turned to look where it went.
"Escalla above you!" I shouted and ready my healing spell. It teleported out of the air and completely on top of her. She quickly dropped to the ground and started crawling between it's legs. Jumping up she ran straight to me. I switched spells to Invisible and hid her, then myself.
"I think he doesn't like me." she whispered a bit sadly to me.
"What gave you that idea?" I whispered back.
"Just a hunch."
We switched tactics. I summoned my most powerful creature. An Energy Vortex. She summoned a creature made of nothing but spinning steel and blades. They did battle with the dragon. The dragon would sometimes use it's dispel and sometimes it would just destroy the pets, but we kept recasting them. We did this till it was looking a little worse for wear. Then Escalla attempted to win it over again.
"We can protect one another from the dangers of the world." she was saying.
I think she forgot that he didn't like her because she didn't see it coming when it turned and....CHRUNCH.
"OooOOoOoOOOo" She said. Again I cast Ressurection on her.
Popping back to life she looked quite proud. "I almost had it that time. I have a good feeling about my next try."
Two hours and 38 Death Shrouds later. She was about to give up. "One more try then I give up!"
She approached the dragon slowly. Staying very calm. "Will you be my friend?...We can protect one another from the dangers of this world.... I promise to take good care of you..." Then suddenly it seemed to take pity on her and bend to her will. She cautiously fed it. Suddenly a deamon appeared out of nowhere. She quickly commanded it to kill the deamon. Almost with a sly smile it turned and bit her.
"OOooOoOO OoOo oOOo"
"Escalla watch your mouth!" The deamon vanished then.
I resurrected her yet again. "I think he did that on purpose...just to let you know whos boss."
A slight glint in it's eyes told me I was right. Escalla pulled out of her bag a VERY large dog collar and tag. On the tag she wrote, Escalla Eater. I couldn't help but think how right that name is.
We stabled Escalla Eater and were about to return home.
"Hey Moonie"
"Yeah?"
"You know your my bestest friend, right?"
"Uh oh"
"No really"
"What this time?"
"What I can't just tell you your special to me?"
She started to sulk a little.
"No!"
Seeing that her ploy didn't work she just blurted it out. "I heard there were ICE dragons. Doesn't that sound cool. Erm no pun intended."
"Actually I wouldn't mind having one of those myself"
He knew that was a mistake as soon as he said it.
