Project ES01

Construction on the etheric sublimator is nearly complete, our Benefactor's design is efficient and will only consume six souls per every 2 kilograms of processed blackrock. The Britannian's sacrificed warriors fuels their eventual enslavement, delicious!

Project WG04

Construction of the prototype Wyrmguard armor is complete. Core components are molded blackrock with infernioc embellishments to act as waveguides for mana absorption, thus bypassing blackrock's inherent etheric impermeability. The guides are a hue honoring the Benefactor.

The standard dragon helm design has been reimagined and now contains layered caddellite to dampen psychic perturbations, and the horns contain two sets of bi-directional com crystals to facilitate communication.

The fraznium-laced gauntlets allow the wearer to pass through the enhanced energy barriers, with the secondary benefit of holding a charge for a shortrange stun capability. We estimate five charges can be gleaned from a simple lightning spell.

The prototype exceeds the required minimums for mitigation of both melee and mystic damage. The only drawbacks being the unavoidable weakness at exposed joints to ranged weapons, as well as pressure wave damage due to concussive detonations. These issues may be subject to further mitigation in future revisions.

Development of a complementary shield and enchanted blackrock weapons remains ongoing. ETA two to three months for testable prototypes. Armor mass production will commence once the gargl chattel complete the required cast molds. ETA forty-five to sixty days for three battalions worth of suits.

Project W001

Hook retrieved a magical wand form a wild mage named Rudyom in Cove. Allegedly, this mage managed to enchant the wand in such a sway as to cause blackrock to explode. Regrettably, the mage escaped the encounter so we must reverse engineer the wand if we wish to use it as a weapon.

Project MS16 – Update

Cultivation of the Psilocybe cubensis giganticus remains effortless, they are easy to feed with the corpses of the unworthy. Absorption of the cavern's rare minerals remains greater than expected, the Zealan's necromantic practices were quite helpful.

Testing indicates that consumption of uncorrupted whole spores is required for secondary host maturation. Any contamination of consumed spores results in catatonia and spontaneous cranial eruption. If corruption is suspected, immediate incineration of the host is necessary, regardless of mental capacity.

Once properly matured, the host body responds to the Voice similar to an automation, but with evident enhanced cognition. The personality is a facsimile of the original, however, it is completely subservient to the Voice.

ETA two months to complete spore refinement and personnel implantation.

Combined with our armor designs and the forthcoming weaponry, the Wyrmguard project will be complete. ETA mid-May, 569BY.

April 3rd, 569BY

Project 2 has been implemented three months ahead of schedule due to an unprecedented military alliance between Britannia and Ter Mur. Batlin has ordered all forced to the Isle of Fire to protect project assets and delay the allied forces until the Benefactor arrives.

--this handwriting is by another hand--

The Black Gate has fallen, Batlin is missing and the Voice speaks no more! Rumors of increased persecution of Fellowship members are true! We will abandon this accursed mine and hide amongst the sheep until the time is right!

--you notice several blue spores have been carelessly pressed into this page--
