Cover Up or Justice?

Regarding the attack on Malag-aste at his home by Imadii, head of the Nujelm Council, our reporters went to work to find out the truth of the situation. We found ourselves in Yew, and were able to interview Lady Piper of the Yew Militia, who is intimate with Malag-aste. She was understandably upset and angry not only at Imadii for attacking Malag-aste, but also at Malag-aste who apparently refuses to press charges. Undeniably guilty, Lady Imadii turned herself in to Leonidas of the Yew Militia, but rather than be held in a cell, she was set free to go about her business. Lady Piper was heard to have said, and I quote, "Many things have happened in the last few months and nothing has been done. I feel that no one in these lands are safe... Koale still stalks the home of the DeLucsils, and the Grand Marshall has been more into the protection of Princess Imadii of Nu'Jelm than his own militia and loyal followers. Justice would be Imadii paying for her crime, and Koale as well, and that drow female that kidnapped me, would be found and jailed."

Before we left Yew we were able to catch up to Rand Al'thor, the Yew Magistrate. He stated that his office was aware of the situation, and that Koale Adkins would have to be caught and that the Yew Militia has put the matter at the top of its list. He will of course be caught and prosecuted for what he has done. When asked about the matter of Imadii, he claimed he was to close to the matter to comment, other than to state that Malag-aste was not, in fact, a citizen of Yew and was a convicted Rapist. and regarldess of the fact that Malag-astes's attacker, Imadii, was a Head of State, that the Yew Courts would be handling the situation. When asked about the state of Yew, Colonel Rand had this to say, "Yew is still a very peaceful city as she has always been. The quality of Yew wood is very good this year."

Shortly after this, Lady Imadii accosted this reporter, and threatened to bring up charges of Slander. She also promised a rebuttal to last week's article but nothing has been recieved at the Sosarian Times News Agency Offices. We will keep you up to date on further developments of this story as they occur. ***

News from the High Council of Britannia

Chancellor Tanda reminded everyone of the 200th meeting that would occur on Monday, May 15th. A Celebratory banquet is planned.

Senior High Justicar Ra'dian Fl'Gith announced the High Council Courthouse will open a Case History library and a Law Library soon. I believe the realm looks forward to reading the information that will be contained within. The rash of kidnappings lately was mentioned as the list of missing persons grows. Mayor Kimber and Lady Alista Greenwood are still missing. The BAF assured the populace that actions are being taken to find and rescue to the two women. The High Council of Britannia currently holds its meetings on Monday Evenings at 8pm under the Central Skies, located at the High Council halls in Compassion Grove, Trammel Facet.

News from the United Council of Sosaria

The meeting was held in Nujelm at the Theater there, and was brief. Prince Morimoto of Tokuno claimed to have been told by his contacts on the High Council that Justicar Bloodcryer intends on bringing up all Tavern Owners on charges of Treason due to the seedier sort that appear inside the taverns. He specifically pointed out that the first target of this Juniour Justicar would be Lady Ailieve, wife of Templar Ren the Conjurer, both citizens of the Township of Newcastle. Further down on the list of Treason candidates would logically be Mayor Kimber of Skara Brae and perhaps even the Famous Kazola herself (should she be found). We will keep you appraised as this story develops. The next meeting of the United Council of Sosaria will be occuring on Tuesday May 16th and will be held in Delucia.

News from the Township of Yew by Dorian DarkMore

Last Monday after the High Council meeting the Yew Militia went on patrol. They played a short game of tag with Kelly Darkheaven. Despite there efforts they were unable to catch her. Mean while Malag Aste Charmed formally know as Malag Aste Hla-ate. Was summoned to aid Aingeal al'Thor. The daughter of Rand al'Thor and Imadii Za'Harrat.

Seems that after the High Council meeting. Nosfentor a teal colored elf with orange hair, and another individual followed Imadii to the Nujel'm Gardens. While there Aingeal was approached by Nosfentor and the other individual wanting to play. She states that the two casted spells on her freezing her where she couldn't move. Then the second indivdual approached her and started casting spells that hurt her. She also states that she yelled for her mom to help but she did not come to her aid. The child then had no choice but to call upon Malag Aste. She summon him to her aid then he was taken by the blue elf. Aingeal said she heard the two mention the name Indra. Indra is a female drow who is said to claim Malag Aste as her pet.

This is the same Indra that kidnapped both Princess Piper and Malag Aste some time ago. Till next week this is your roaming reporter, Dorian DarkMore

Eye on Tokuno

Viaxus drow were seen in Tokuno throughout the week, but rather than looking as though they were emissarys, these drow looked more like angry warriors. Finally on Thursday Evening, a herald of the Viaxus left a message at the Blue Lotus Guildhouse declaring Prince Morimoto dishonorable and claiming to have information on his double dealings. The drow have apparently declared war on Tokuno -- although that's somewhat questionable given the rather angry and obtuse language contained in the message.

But they are undeniably upset over Tokuno violating the non-agression treaty with the Drow.
