Title: Races of Britannia
Author: Royal Researchers
In our great land we see much diversity, from our studies of animals and our research on Britannian botany we can see many different types of plants and animals.
On a different level we see creatures as well, such as Orcs and Lizardmen, these creatures of course have always had a negative intent whenever approached but we cannot be so quick to dismiss there obvious intelligence, these creatures wield weapons, live in communities, have languages, and even have there own types of technology to a degree. Wisps are also very intelligent, many do not know that they also have there own distinct language as well, but one of the most hidden and best kept secrets of our realm is not a creature or a animal, but it is another race, for some time the scholars of the academies of Lord British stated that Britannia only had two races under which they felt classified as such.
The Orcish Race, and The Human Race. Recently however it has been made clear to these researchers that there are other races as well. The Elves, The Dwarves, and The Gnomes have been here for some time these peoples are not very well known, but there kingdoms have thrived since the begging of our world, and they still thrive today in the realm of Felucca.
Each one of these races has its own Language, Culture, History, Clothing, and so much more. It is clear that now we share this world with five races not only one or two.
Humans are flexible and ambitious, they are diverse in their tastes, morals, habits, and customs. they live about. Humans have short life spans, maturing at around 15 and rarely living even a single century.
Elves are well known for there poetry, dance lore, song, and magical arts. Elves are more often amused than excited, more often curious than greedy. With such long lives they tend to keep a broad prospective on events remain aloof and unfazed by petty happenings.
Dwarves are known for their skill in warfare, their ability to withstand physical and magical punishment, the knowledge of the earths secrets, their capacity for drinking ale and hard work. Dwarves are excellent miners and value minerals and ore with much appreciation. They have a strong sense of justice.
Gnomes are welcome everywhere as technicians, alchemists and inventors, Gnomes adore animals, beautiful gems, and jokes of all kinds.
Gnomes have great senses of humor and while they love puns, jokes and games, they relish tricks, the more intricate the better.
Orcs are short tempered, brutish and to the point. they hate conversation and seek to act before talking. They love to fight and love to drink and would kill just for the fun. They live about the same age as humans yet they live shorter still do to their lives of constant battle.
