Users of Dragons Blood, measure your quantities with the greatest care as the chaotic nature of the blood is dangerous.
Blackrock (Other)
Chaotic Power
While not a true Reagent in the sense that it is not used for any traditional spellcasting, Blackrock has been used for its highly complex etheral structure which acts as a focus for high level magical spells.
Blackrock also tends to weaken the interdimensional matrix surrounding it and is used in almost all types of advanced gate spells as a trigger device of sorts. There are theories that Blackrock erodes the sanity of sentient life in proximity to it and prolongued exposure could possibly cause memory lapses and mental illness.
Blackrock is found naturally in some veins of mines as a product called 'Shadow Ore' to the uninitiated. Shadow Ore is pure blackrock without the magical alignment neccesary to create such a powerful etheral matrix. It is suspected that extreme magnetic forces can properly convert Shadow Ore to Blackrock.
A note to users of armor or weapons made using Shadow Ore, due to the lack of proper allignment, these items are not in any sense Blackrock and therefore do not have the magical abilities that Blackrock poseses. Impure Shadow Ore, commonly wasted in the refining process, is needed to create the Reagent Blackmoor along with specially prepared dirt.
