New Jhelom or Nujel'm as it has become known today, is the epitome of how far Britannia has fallen under the misguided leadership of "King" Blackthorne.
A veritable paradise, with sprawling mansions, beautiful gardens and every luxury one might imagine, Nujel'm is the epitome of opulence, so long as you can afford it.
Forget about Humility, take pride in having a bigger house than your neighbor.
Compassion? Forget it! The only compassion to be found there is in the citizens paying to ship out any gypsies, beggars or perceive ne'er do wells. As for Honesty, well in Nujel'm it is honestly believed that enriching oneself to the detriment of your fellow neighbor and the betterment of yourself is the highest virtue!
The only Spirituality these heathens possess is their worship of the almighty gold piece!
As for Justice, the Nujel'm citizens think Justice is killing off the poor and jailing those deemed not to fit in.
No dear reader, Nujel'm is not the paradise our beloved Lord British set out to create in an effort to showcase the Virtues. Instead it is a window in the tyranny of Beast Blackthorne and all he has done to corrupt the Virtues!
If only the Avatar were to return and banish away the evils wrought upon Britannia...
