Rainbow King: Excuse me for these means of communication

Gargish Dragon: Greetings all

Rainbow King: Can I be heared?

Gargish Dragon: Everyone can hear me talking?

zenda: Aye

Jaymes: aye

Slash: aye

Gargish Dragon: Well, if everyone agrees, I would like to start the meeting Gargish Dragon: Please, Sirs, if you want to speak , please raise your hand so that we can keep some order

Gargish Dragon: Let me first welcome all of you to this meeting Your presence shows the great interest that there is in the affairs of Yew I have some issues that I want to present today and if you have more issues, I will be glad to discuss them

Gargish Dragon: First, I would liek to welcome Jaymes and Verminaard of Minoc Maybe you could introduce your organziation, Sir Jaymes?

Jaymes: Some of the YM know us for those of u who dont we are the Minoc Guard very similar to the malitia in many respectswe have had ties with the malitia for quite sometime and would be honored to be formally alliedwith the YM We are hoping also to get a minoc council started and unite it with Yew's that is a long term goal that's about the core of it Pleased to meet all of you i donnot already know

Gargish Dragon: Thank you, Jaymes. I am glad that some citizens of Minoc have formed an organization to protect the citizens of Minoc and I would like to have our council

Jaymes: Aye it has been a long time coming

Gargish Dragon: give them all the help they need Our Militia could train with them and work with them So we were thinking about a formal alliance

Jaymes: we would consider it an honor

Gargish Dragon: I want to hear the opinions of the Council if such an alliance would be accepted by the citizens of Yew So I would like to hear your opinions now.

Pyros:*raises hand*

Gargish Dragon: Yes, Pyros?

Pyros: It sounds like a good idea. Evantualy we may be able to set up similar councils in all the cities along with a defence militia Pyros: this will go a long way to curbing the criminal activity

Jaymes: aye that is what we hope shall eventually happen

Pyros: That's my opinion on the matter

goltuc: how will it help with criminal activity?

Gargish Dragon: Thank you, Pyros

Laein Simorian: *raises hand*

Gargish Dragon: Aye, Lady Simorian?

Gargish Dragon says Aye, Lady Simorian?

Laein Simorian: i think it would be a great idea i would be willing to help out with the idea

Jaymes: We have a real life friend who is a malitia member as well

Gargish Dragon: Thank you Are there other comments?

goltuc: what respnsibilities are going to have?

Gargish Dragon: The Miltias will offer help in case of larger operations

goltuc: i'm all for that and helping curb crime

Dyluck Blade: So, by cutting back on crime. Does that mean less treason?

Khinrit: no

Gargish Dragon: As for treason.. I think we have the means to deal with that

Pyros: *hand*

Gargish Dragon: Pyros? Pyros: Since we seem to have brought up the topic of Malicite I'd like to ask for a slightly lower sentence, since his crime was not very I have a suggestion if your interested. Instead of Death, perhaps a comple siezure of all assets, both on him and in the bank along with a 5000 gc fine payable to either Yew or the militia

Dyluck Blade: He said lets not kill mal

Gargish Dragon: As with averting death penalty, I have the right to pardon

Khinrit: lets take a vote

Dunedain: we beseech you to parrdon Mal

Pyros: additionaly he is banned from recieving aid from anyone for 1 week and he is demoted to private

Fiditus: reduction of rank

Pyros: this can further be augment by a time in the prison

Gargish Dragon: Bzt there must be good reason for me to do that And I dont see that reason unless new evidence is brought before me

goltuc: i will not stop aid to anyone in need

Pyros: Well it seems Death is a high price to pay for a simple jail brake I'm not saying give him a full parden, but death seems to be the answer for everythin

Gargish Dragon: that he did not act on his own intent and willingly We must consider that every military organization must be able to rely utterly on each of its members

Pyros: indeed so we should court martial him, not kill him

Gargish Dragon: if that is not the case our whole civilization is at stake.

Dyluck Blade: Civilization left a long time ago

Gargish Dragon: The death of hundreds could follow Thank you

Khinrit: yes by saying they commited treason

goltuc: what did he do

Dyluck Blade: He freed another prisoner

Pyros: mal broke Kail out of prison when Kail was under an OES curse

Dunedain: this issue has the community deeply devided

Khinrit: and kails not under it anymore so what the problem

Pyros: the problem is that mal broke the law

Fiditus: Aye

Dunedain: the punishment does seem excessive

Pyros: but I think death is a steep price to pay so such a minor crime

Gangrel: at one point in time, we've all broken the law

Dyluck Blade: Fid you're a scoundrel, did that happen through good deeds?

Fiditus: its not a minor crime

Khinrit: what is the law in this great wilderness of monsters and adventurerd

goltuc: were there any deaths involved?

Dyluck Blade: Nope no death

Wolfen: *hand*

goltuc: i did not hear the answer

Pyros: tok where we were

Wolfen: order and obtaining the law is all we have if the law is not kept then anarchey will follow

Dyluck Blade: If it is anarchy will follow

Wolfen: death is a steap price but f the people dont learn now then they will never learn

Khinrit: this is anarchy

Pyros: but should death be the answer for everything

Khinrit: we only lesten to what our guild masters and others force us to do

Thrawn: if somebody were ablt to produce some evidence then perhaps a pardon would be in order

Wolfen: and all will ecpect special tratment expect

Thrawn: prooving Malicite was not responsible for his actions

Pyros: we're not offering special tratment

Fiditus: There is no evidence He acted on his own free will

Windlord: *hand*

Wolfen: but there i no evidence that he didnt

Windlord: Would the council consider a stay in order to obtain such proof?

Fiditus: Yes he did, I was there, you where not

Pyros: it doesn't matter if he was thinking clearly.

Dyluck Blade: *nods head to Dunedain*

Pyros: the question is, should he be put to death becuase of a jail break

Dyluck Blade: Of course, kill em all

Wolfen: didnt he also attack officers?

Fiditus: Sentence was passed, the trial was ended

Pyros: yes he did, but the charge is on the jail break not assualt

Fiditus: Or do you doubt Thrawn?

Fiditus: ?!?

Wolfen: the trial is over sentence was dictated and passed

Khinrit says someone will be mals champion and someone will oppose and who ever wins decides mals fait Fiditus: He assulted me and half the militia when we went to moonglow to apprehend him

Khinrit: you deserve it any would have done the same

Pyros: but he was never charged on it he was charged on the jaiol break

Wolfen: i wouldve just ran not attacked

Khinrit says you came at him with a linch mod

Fiditus: The OES was there to openly aid him

Windlord: To aid or to control?

Khinrit: i woulda tried to kill you too if you came at me like that

Pyros: so we kill him for have associations with OES? we should court martial him for that

Wolfen: what do you say Sir Gargish?

Fiditus: This is a moot point

Wolfen: Gargish what does thou say and decide?

Amalek: Friends I believe someone has been trying to influence the results of the trial in his attemptand has succeeded

Gargish Dragon: I am waiting for some sort of evidence

Pyros: Dragon we know he did it, but does the punishment fit the crime?

Wolfen: so your saying none has been provided and we are here to keep the law

Khinrit says you keep it like a theif

Dyluck Blade: Since no efidence has been provided, and the militia wants Mal dead How bout one of you kill him

Dunedain: kill everyone who breaks the law and it will be a lonelyh place

Gargish Dragon: Amalek, this is an interesting idea

Dyluck Blade: You arent militia

Amalek: Hmmm? I won't name names, but a sinister force is at work in Yew's affairs...

Wolfen: Gargish what does thou pronounce

Khinrit: let do this by a trial by force

Gargish Dragon: But what does that mean? How would our honorable Chief Justce be influenced?

Khinrit: each side picks champion and they duke it out

Amalek: It is along the lines of the affliction Kail and I have been suffering But it is an unknown enemy Not who everyone thinks it is...

Thrawn: well, to be honest, I did feel a bit woozy at the time...

Dyluck Blade: Feeling a bit woozy? What does that mean? I feel woozy when I stand up to fast

Gargish Dragon: Woozy?

Slang: uncoordinated

Dyluck Blade: I also feel woozy when I have too much to drink. What kind of woozy

Thrawn: a bit clouded in the head I suppose... didn't really realize it until afterwards *shrugs*

Gargish Dragon: You mean during the trial, Chief Justice? or when reading the verdict?

Khinrit: mal must go free

Wolfen: dy if you will be alittle more respecful

Thrawn: hmm... I don't remember the details of the Trial all that well

Fiditus: It was an open and shut case

Gargish Dragon: Dear Chief Justice, this presents some totally new facts We sould definitely investigate this "woozyness" further

zenda: Aye investigate

Dyluck Blade: So, Mal will be in jail for what another month?

Fiditus: Better than death

Khinrit: that seems unfair

Thrawn: I did have a tasty meal left in my chambers before the Trial... didn't see who left it, I just assumed it was from the caterers *shrugs*

Rictar: May I suggest someone check the food for poison

Fiditus: And just how are you going to check it?

Gargish Dragon: I will announce my decision Until this new issue is resolved I order a stay on the execution of Malicite so that we have time to investigate this matter

Kail: *nods and sighs relief*

Priestess Althea: How can one trace a cad that tainted meat.. the evidence is gone..no?

Wolfen: i agree

Dyluck Blade: Question the caterers

SunWolf: It seems someone has placed that food there

Rictar: *raises Hand*

SunWolf: the rest was imprisoned that we thought were the only ones by evil deeds they are doi

Gargish Dragon: Silence..

Gargish Dragon: and yes, Rictar, please

Rictar: I would like to know what The Mayors oppinon on RK post is? about open elections

Gargish Dragon: Rictar, this was an issue I wanted to discuss soon This is on my agenda

Rictar: when your ready Mayor

Gargish Dragon: Let me just finish the first topic, which was the alliance with the Minoc Guards

Rictar: *nods*

Gargish Dragon: I want to have a vote now all for the alliance say "Aye"

goltuc: aye

Sheena: Aye

Talon: Aye.

Dunedain: aye

SunWolf: aye

Laein Simorian: Aye

zenda: Aye

Kail: Aye.

Slang: Aye!

Morvan Xylon: Aye

Thrawn: aye

Gargish Dragon: all against the alliance say "Nay"

Dyluck Blade: Oh sorry, nay

Khinrit: Nay

Gargish Dragon: So the mayority is for the alliance The formal ceremony will be held soon

Laein Simorian: *nods*

Gargish Dragon: But honestly, I wonder about the Nays.. and I would like to hear their opinons on this

Dyluck Blade: I've been to Minoc I find it filthy And rundown

Khinrit: we need not more men of law to muddy the affais of Yew

Jaymes: aye we donnot want anyone to feel uneasy about us

Jaymes: Aye sire you are very correct lol but we are working on that

Amalek: *chuckles*

Verminaard: aye sir... we are wanting to "clean it up: not ignore the probles

Dyluck Blade: I have no problem with MEG, but Id rather ally with a town that Had fixed its problem rather than was fixing

Khinrit: Aye

Dyluck Blade: Both towns need to work on their own problems. Then discuss a union

Jaymes: Understood sirs I understand that for one you donnot know us

Kieran Darkmire: There will always be problems, Dyluck. And if you hold out for when there will be none, it will never happen.

Trinity: yes

Jaymes: Sunwolf is a real life frind of mine has been for a good many years

Khinrit: but there is always room for improvement and improvement

Gargish Dragon: This alliance is not for regular involvement in the affairs of the other town both of us need

Jaymes: that is where our ties to yew began

Dyluck Blade: It reflects one town

Jaymes: meg are all trustworthy mature players

Dyluck Blade: If we ally with Bucs den then we are supportin it's state That would make no sense

Jaymes: there wont be any craziness

Khinrit: AYE

Dyluck Blade: If we ally with Minoc, then we show support for Minocs state

Verminaard: nay sir to ally with minoc shows you expect a change in the whole of the land not just 1 city

Jaymes: this alliance is symbolic of our joint struggle toward the same ultimate goal and also to give us a chance to lend help to YM and vice versa when needed nothing will change in eithger YM or MEG due to this alliance

Rictar: Before bashing Minoc look at Yew both towns need work

Dyluck Blade: Well, regardless of how I one man feels. The majority of people agree to it So, I say we ally

Gargish Dragon: I will assure you that we won't get Minoc's problems

Wolfen: aye ally

Gargish Dragon: just by having an alliance I will stand for that

Slang: and they shant get ours'

Khinrit: but if we look to the majority of guidence then mal should be a free man

Gargish Dragon: Alright.. I will move to the next topic then There was questions about elections

Rictar: Aye there was I am here on behalf of The Rainbow King and GreenHell

Gargish Dragon: I understand this, and I will agree to elections There is jsut the date to be decided on

Rictar: *nods*

Khinrit: i nominate silver

Gargish Dragon: We have discussed the election prodedures in an earlier meeting and they are still valid.

Khinrit: i was not here

Dyluck Blade: For those of us that missed that where can we find them?

Gargish Dragon: If I may remember you, last time elections were announced there were no candidates and thus the election had to be calnceled

Rictar: And will the town people be able to vote?

Gargish Dragon: All town people will be allowed to vote

Laein Simorian: *raises hand*

Gargish Dragon: Aye, Laein?

Laein Simorian: will you be running?

Gargish Dragon: I have not yet made a decision, Laein It depends on the support there is

Laein Simorian: *nods*

Rictar: Could it be possible to post proceddings on the website instead

Dyluck Blade: They are on the website

Rictar: of looking for old articals?

Windlord: I would support Gargish

Wolfen: ditto

Laein Simorian: aye me aswell

Dyluck Blade: Ill wait til I see the other people

Gargish Dragon: I can prepare the procedures in a separate documetn and post it there Any more questions?

Friar William: Can you explain my good Mayor Many people here are born aand raised in Yew Many people have moved on to different places Many people simply have strong ties to Yew How will you define who can vote in these elections?

Gargish Dragon: The citizens of Yew are defined as those living here, doing business in Yew and taking a general interest in the affairs of Yew

Friar William: And will these people be noted down in some sort of Register? Most towns know who their citizens are... I must admit I do not

Gargish Dragon: There is the Yew citizen registery it makes sense to require a registration. Does that answer your question?

Friar William: So you will be putting the Registry in order? Perhaps announce a general rigistration ?

Gargish Dragon: I will announce that the registration is necessary for voting and we will try to clean it up

Windlord: I would imagin Friar William's concerns stem from a fear of outside influences who do not have Yew's interest at heart influencing it's future

Gargish Dragon: I understand your concerns but we are an open community

Friar William: If I take a glance on our history it's not uncommun

Gargish Dragon: and citizenship in Yew is open

Friar William: My biggest concearn would be That an hour before the vote is closed A large party from outside would attempt to shift the elections Atleast with a registration there are no surprises

Gargish Dragon: The elections will be tallied by a person, of course

Windlord: I am confident that support in Yew is strong enough to counter any milicious attempts to hijack the council

Khinrit: how about let origin do it as an online poll on their site

Dyluck Blade: There are always surprises

Pyros: with online poles you can often vote multiple times

Gargish Dragon: There will be no online poll Voting will be done in person

Pyros: having a person do it will avoid this problem

Dyluck Blade: We already decided the best way. A person taking votes

Friar William: So I presume there will be a small event where all the

Gargish Dragon: Only persons who are registered will be allowed to vote

Friar William: candidates will present their manifesto for their elected period?

Gargish Dragon: Yes, this will be done

Friar William: A very wise decision

Gargish Dragon: wehen the period for announcing candidacy is over Of course you will always be able to speak to the candidates yourself I can say that for my person at least, in case I chose to be a candidate. Are there more questions about the elections?

Rictar: Green Hell supports Gargish

Laein Simorian: *raises hand*

Gargish Dragon: Aye, Laein?

Laein Simorian: i would like to say something about the merchant program im working out

Gargish Dragon: Ah, thank you Laein this was about the next topic :) I didn't forget you

Laein Simorian: oh? *smiles*

Gargish Dragon: Just wanted to clear the election issue before we proceed with the next topic So.. if there are no more questions, I give you the word, Laein

Laein Simorian: well, im trying to get ahold of some merchants of the area right now on the CoC page ive been putting together a map of yew along with most of the areas merchants so if you have a vendor in the area just goto the CoC Page and email me i belive gargish has the new one linked up?

Gargish Dragon: Aye, it is

Laein Simorian: also on the page there is information on a upcoming all to come to Sir do you have anything to add?

Gargish Dragon: Aye.. if you have ideas for the Helloween festival (for that is what the event is about) please letour honorable Commerce Minister know I am sure this will be fun Thank you, Laein Now I would like you to bring up any other issues that you want to be discussed

Pyros: *hand*

Gargish Dragon: Pyros?

Pyros: I missed the first half of the elections discusion. Did you guys decided if the position of Captain of the Militia should be elected or appointed?

Gargish Dragon: I was merely speaking of the office of Mayor

Pyros: ok so nothing about the captain?

Gargish Dragon: As the Militia is concerned, I do not see any reason to make any changes

Pyros: alright well that settles that

Rictar: But shouldnt that be up to the citizens of Yew whom protects them?

Gargish Dragon: A new mayor might appoint a new Captain

Pyros: personaly I think the position should be appointed not elected

Gargish Dragon: As for my decision, I consult the Militia when it is necessary But I do not see any necessity at this time

Gargish Dragon: Other topics? Open issues?

Fortunato: * raises hand *A question... to what extent does teh council here in Yew plan to become in volved with the operations of Minoc.I find the goal noble but can we rally the resourcers?

Gargish Dragon: Sorry.. I am sure the Militia will not neglect their regular job You see, in case of need the Militia can get reinforcement from Minoc I think we can both profit from the alliance Does that answer the question?

Fortunato: aye, it does satisfy my curosity

Gargish Dragon: Any other questions or issues? If there are none, then I will close this meeting Thank ye all for attending Thank ye all for attending And Fare thee well
