Malfean Mages claim the deepest understanding of the Sphere of Entrophy.
This I will reveal to you, reader. I am a fallen mage, I gave my soul to the spiral and have resented my choice now that I am old as soon my spirit will be claimed by it and my magic is not strong enough to keep me alive much longer.
The Maeljin of Malfeas, a realm located on the edge of our universe, are the incarnations of the Spiral.
The Spiral is the 'thing' that crushes our world. Banished from the shards by the rise in the virtue faith and the belief in a greater good, the Incarna wait to serve their master once more. Troubled mortals and supernaturals, mostly outcasts and occult seekers, are the herd from which the Spiral takes its members. Outcasts are lured by the promise of belonging. The occultists are lured with the power the Spiral is willing to give.
The goal of the Spiral and its many followers is to turn the shards into the substance from which they have been made. Once the planets are turned to the 'goo' from which they were created the Spiral will colapse the universe into itself creating the void that entrophy represents. As nothing will exist there will be no need for the Spiral to exist.
This self destruction is the ultimate goal of the Spiral.
Being a 'creature' of entrophy it lives for nothing but the end of everything.
The followers of the Spiral, the Malfeans, usualy demonstrate necromantic magics and a lack of morals.
They constantly work against virtue and undermine the existence of good gods.
By destroying the faith they reduce the hold of the good over the world and increase the chances of the Malfean Incarna of being summoned.
Once all 13 Incarna are summoned they inturn can summon the Spiral itself from Malfeas.
