Title: Lifting Possession spells

Author: Rondor

This book describes a number of ways to lift the spell of Possession. Of course, there are quite a large number of ways to possess a person, and new ones are being discovered all the time. This book describes the most common forms of possession and how to lift it. All incantations must be done without failure. If the spell fails, the entire spell must be cast anew.

Chapter 1: Possession by others

It is possible for a powerfull spellcaster to control the mind, and body of a person. This is a relatively difficult spell, and requires a victim who has little resistance to this form of magic.

The spellcaster erupts a wall in the mind. He traps the victim behind this wall, and he has access to the brain of the victim. The spell will last until the spellcaster lifts it, or it is removed from another person. Particulary strong-willed persons may find the strenght to tear down this wall themselves, and regain control. This is very dangerous for both the spellcaster and the victim, as there is a chance both souls will be trapped inside the body of the victim. In case of very powerfull spellcasters, who control both their own body and the victim's body at the same time, the victim will have part of the soul locked inside them. Another spell is required to exorcise the half-soul from the body.

The correct words of Power to lift a spell of Possession done by another person are:

"Vas An Nox, An Ort, Rel Wis"

Another, less common method of possession is to stimulate a desire, or hatred of the victim. The spellcaster will for instance stimulate the victim's hatred against another person. Although it is not a way to actually possess the victim, the victim can be controlled by using this method.

The correct words of Power to lift such a spell are:

"An Nox, Uus Sanct, Rel Sanct"

More than one spellcaster may be required to lift this spell, if cast by a strong magician.

Chapter 2:Possession from the dead

One of the most eldest forms of possession is possession done by the dead. A particular spirit, or ghost can enter a person's body and control it. The victim will not know what he is doing. The possession lasts for as long as the ghost or spirit decides it should last. The victim's soul is unable to fight back, as the spirit's soul has trapped the victim's soul. One way to exorcise the spirit from the body is by knocking the person unconcious. The victim's soul and the spirit will engage in a mindwar, where the strongest mind will win. The victim will not remember this, however. Usually the victim will regain control, and the spirit is forced out of the body. Spirits or ghosts can only enter a new body during the night.

When the sun rises, the spirit is trapped inside the body until the sun sets again. Another way to lift the possession is to have a third soul enter the body. This soul can do battle.
