Few remember tales as old as this but it is a tale worth remembering in this day and age. The legend of light as it was originaly called warned of all that is happening in the multiverse. It is strange to think that maybe just maybe if we had remembered the story it all might not have happened this way. However I digress, the speculation as to whether or not our lives would be better if we had remembered is just that speculation. I do know however that it might be the source of the solution. The story was told to me long ago but i will try to write it down for all the world to see.
With any luck it will teach us the true meaning of all that is happening and give us a way to drive the darkness from this world and any otheres that it tries to destroy. I feel that with it's help maybe we can restore the world to the way it was before the darkness tried to take it. Now I am sure that many of you are sure that there is no easy way to protect this world from the darkness, many of you probobly don't even realize that the darkness is there. Those that can see the darkness take one of three pathes. The first of these is to do nothing. They dont care if the world is destroyed as long as they can keep living their life it dosent matter in the least to them. What they don't realize is that the darkness will not leave them alone just because they don't fight against it.
The second path (and the one I will follow) is to Fight to the Death against this dark power. They are the ones that will survive the coming darkness and overcome it.
They are the ones who will be able to reshape the world into a place where only good can dwell a land where Evil can not exist. I hope I can see that world one day. The last path that people take is to FOLLOW the darkness. Whatever their reasons I can not abide people who have the audacity to join the darkness. They give up all that they once were, all that they are now, and all that they might have been. Why they follow oblivion none will ever know but the fact remains that there are people who serve this dark power and there only remaining wish is for those that serve the light to be turned or killed. They have no dealings with the neutrals since the neutrals don't fight they are not a threat. I'm afraid that only a small few will ever understand what I mean by that but maybe those few will see why it is so imperitive that I write all of this down. Most people think that I am completely crazy, they might be right but having been almost completely destroyed by the darkness will do that to a person.
Your average person will never have the strength to survive the power of oblivion. Now I admit that I am not your average human, My body is that of a human but my mind and spirit are that of a legendary warrior and descendant of the Great Dragon. I am the only surviver of my Clan, We served the light in ways that seem almost impossible to most of the world. I can only think that it was our combined will that allowed ANY of use to survive. I am upset about what the darkness did to my people but they WANT me to attack them in a rage without plan or thought because in the moment I do they can Take me or Destroy me as they see fit. As I said before I will do all I can to save this world from the darkness, It's the only home I have left. The problem is that in my training I was overzealous and have let the Human who so willingly hosted my spirit to die. It is my fault that the young warrior Lelldorin is no more but I know that had he been given the choice he would have chosen this. That thought however only strengthens my guilt.
Few will ever know what the darkness is capable of. Many of you see it on a regular basis disguised as people you have met. Few if any of you actually see what those people have become.
Oblivion is not a force to be taken lightly. If you are going to fight you must fight with all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you will one day become.
The powers of this shadow are too numerous to try and describe, However I can tell you the it is THE master of deception. You can't fool Oblivion but it can hide from even the ones who KNOW that it is there! Very few of you will belive this tail but I will try as best i can to relate it to you.

In the begining there was nothing. When Concepts now veiwed as time and space came into being the entirety of the multiverse was filled, but like all things the "nothing" that had been replaced had a conscienciousness of it's own. This "nothing" is the parasitic monster that those who can see it call the "Wyrm." Few people understand what a danger this caused, for the Wyrm wants to return to the beginning, the time of the void. Some people feel that to be the best path. If the Wyrm consumes all then there will be no strife. What they fail to realise is that there will also be NOTHING left in the world. The shadows that were born of the Wyrm were the force known as Etropy, and the anti-life or Oblivion. Let me explain for I am sure that most of you will not understand, Etropy is the force that is destroying the world. It is a power that can only destroy. It's purpose is a simple one - make everything cease to exist. That is it's only task and let me tell you that it is very good at what it does. The second is alot more complex then that. You see now that there is something that can never be "nothing" again. All the darkness can do is consume everything.
Make all that is a part of it self, That is exactly what Oblivion is. All the people, all the lands that have fallen completely to the shadows. The worst part is that all these things have been twisted and dominated by the darkness. It controls them completely. The warriors sent by this shadow are called Oblivionists or Obies. The problem of course is that somtimes people we know, people we love are carried away by the shadows and then those same people return to try and destroy us. I have had that experiance and let me say that it was not pleasent. I was forced to kill my wife to save what was left of her soul from the darkness. Death and Victory are the only ways to escape the darkness.
Now I know that might sound confusing at first but Falling to the darkness and death are 2 VERY different things. you see falling to darkness you lose all that you are, were, and will yet be. In Death the cycle of Rebirth can continue. Have you ever had a conversation with a close friend and realise that you have had the same conversation before in another time or place? Many if not all of you have had this feeling I'm sure and to be honest I don't trust those that don't have those feelings at least occasionally at all. You see the only people in this world that don't see there past lifes are those that have been consumed by the darkness.
This is not to say that if you have had these feeling that you have fallen. But having the feelings is one of the few evidences one can provide to prove you are still a living creature. A being that can fight against the darkness.
