Honesty

Honesty is the ability possessed by a being to utter the truth in all cases, and never speak falsely in any matter. Honesty, embodies valor, and shines as a beacon in the night to those who would seek the fruitful path of the virtues. Honesty is found in all that would see themselves bettered in some way and those that strive to achieve dreams.

Honesty, in its pure and most concentrated form, burns like a fiery double edged sword through the foulness of deception and foul treachery. Darkness cannot overcome what honesty would seek to reveal. That that is hidden, will always be forced into the white, blinding light of virtue.

Honesty, when put into action, expunges the darkness that lurks in one’s mind and soul and forces it out where it dies. Honesty keeps us from the brink of destruction, and with its absence, we slowly fall into the Abyss. Gone are the days of anarchy in which honesty played a role rare and seldom seen. The realm is presently teaming with warriors and mages of a virtuous nature, ever striving for the betterment of their fellow man.

Honesty and Truth are held in highest respect even in the most foul ranks of the Order of the Ebon Skull. Would one of those fiends lie to another in leage with himself? I think not. Such is Honesty. This precious virtue is present even in their strongholds of destruction and so represents the most definitive structure of true goodness.

The philosophy of Deceit held by those drenched in foulness is a non-functional, anti-logical, practice. No creature alone can function on its own, and of its own will, therefore, honesty is a required virtue. Deceit only leads to self ruination and destruction. There is no order or chaos with Deceit and the practice of deception, simply total and utter annihilation.

The construct of Honesty is Truth combined with the power of courage, to give one the will to speak that that is true, freely. Honesty shall overcome and the people shall prosper in effect.
