Title: Happy Halloween!!

Author: Ceinwyn ab'Arawn

Don’t ever laugh when a hearse goes by or you may be the next to die. They wrap you up in fancy dress, only to end up a great big mess. They put you in a great big box, and cover you up with dirt and rocks. They take you to the family plot, and there you stay, decay and rot. For you, they make a flower wreath, and bury you under ‘bout six feet deep. But maybe then your soul’s not free, ‘cause you can hear Psalm 23. You scream and fight and bang your head, but they assume you’re really dead. They shove you down into the earth, and now your lungs begin to hurt. You yank the rope to ring the bell, you call for God and you’re cursing Hell. Then all goes well for about a week and then the coffin it begins to leak …

And … the …

Worms crawl in … the worms crawl out … the worms play pinochle on your snout.

They eat your eyes … they eat your nose … they eat the jelly between your toes. There’s one little worm that’s not so shy … crawls in your ear and out your eye; Your guts turn a gassy green and snot comes out like thick whipped cream. And when your bones they begin to rot, The worms are there but you are not; Your ears fall off, your teeth decay, A rotten way to end the day!
