I fully intend to remove a significant problem that has hindered human influence in the Regency. That being the Regent herself.
In a few weeks Magincia will hold a celebration, an event to which the Regent and her family will be invited. During this event my assassins will be mingled in with the crowd. When the fireships sail by the coast and the people gather on the shore to watch the Regent will be assailed and slain. With luck the assassins will escape or die shortly afterwards.
They know they may be sacrificed, they are Magincians and do their duity well. We will react with surprise to all of this and shed the blame on others as fingers are surely going to point at me. At the murder scene one of my sons will discover a planted note from the Oggaroth cult which shall take credit for the assassination. With luck this will limit backlash.
