For the most part he was ignored since he stayed away from people as much as possible and seemed unusually peaceful for such a horrid monster. Unfortunately when a grieveous fire broke out destroying much of the city and forrest, he was blamed. The enraged townsmen drug the hapless vampire into the city where they burned him at the stake. The Militia was called out to investigate the vampire's home for evidence. Instead of the evidence they sought for they found to young babes: a boy and a girl. The Militia searched for a family for the two young children to no avail. Finally, they were forced to put them in an orfanage. There the children remained for three years. Eventually the children were adopted, but into two different families.
