Blessing of War

by Cthulu

Ritual to be completed within the confines of any pentagram. To be cast with one caster and five readied combatants. Ingredients required; Five vials of blood, collected from fallen foes. One clove of garlic. One root of ginseng. One root of mandrake. One portion of sulphurous ash.

Preparation; -A word of warning, NOT following this ritual as it is written could be catastrophic and detrimental to it's participants!- One vial of blood is to be placed at each of the five points of the pentagram. At this time, the appointed caster should take his place at the CENTER, followed by a combatant at each point. ALL MUST face TRUE SOUTH. The Ebon Skull was unearthed in the North, therefore participants must face South, in defiance of the Skull's enemies. At this time, until completion, the caster shall be the only one to speak. Combatants MAY make a silent prayer to Oblivion at this time.

The ritual; To be spoken by the caster. "The blood of our fallen enemies shall give us strength and protection. As it has been done, shall it be done again. Oblivion guide us in this cause!" The words of magic, "Vas Uus Sanct" the power directed at the occupant of the Southernmost point. "ETHENG!"

At this point, all combatants should collect the "empty" vial at their feet to be refilled on the field of battle by fallen foes.

Newly collect vials of blood are to be returned to the caster for safekeeping, until required again.

Walk in Darkness. -last pages seems to have an odd, waterstained seal upon it, unlike anything you've ever seen before-
