A Virtuous Sign Upon New Magincia

Addie had spent much of the last year studying under Juuritan Zunnim, a private but incredibly fair and level headed mentor. Moonglow treated him much differently than New Haven had. Those teachers of basic magery in New Haven didn't quite know what to make of him, did not understand him, and were simply deathly afraid of him.
The Lycaeum had embraced him, saw him both as pupil and as master. Juuritan had learned just as much about magic and the universe from Addie as he himself had taught to the boy.
The lessons were less lecture and more exploration of the depths of Addie's mind. When things got out of control Juuritan was always able to calm the boy down and bring him back. This had increased Addie's mental control of his abilities greatly and prevented any more mishaps such as the one when he had first come to the Lycaeum.
Still, Addie missed home. The world's voice sang of Magincia being rebuilt, piece by piece. But there was too much to do, still too much to learn, he was not yet ready to leave the lycaeum.
Addie's day had ended and he closed his eyes while lying in his small bed. He longed to give the people of Magincia a gift, he longed to see things as they happened, he also wanted to protect his home for his power had grown greatly.
Addie squinted his eyes and thought of home, and his mind traveled among the clouds toward the island of his birth... and there took form.
