The master says that once we properly cast this final invokation our work will be done and we will have attained the necessary requists to enter the sanctuary.... Many of my colleagues have expressed private doubts about the new procedures expected of initiates by the master. There have been suspicions raised about that the previous master's departure was contrived.... I cannot speak on the latter, but do admit I have grave suspicious that this massive spell we have been asked to unleach is very dangerous.

You see what appears to be a description for a massive summoning requiring, what in your mind you evaluate the need for a least five hundred human mages

Post Scriptum, The contents of this book are all that remain of what was a once a growing world in a distant portion of this universe. It is now totally overrun by hordes of daemons and has for centuries been monitored very carefully by every mage in the continum. Somehow the wizards of that world were contrived into opening a portal into a daemon realm.
