Title: a note signed by Steel

Author: Steel

I am sorry for the way I am letting you know this. But honestly, as of late my contact with this world has been slowly slipping into nothing. I spoke recently with an old friend who reminded me of what I live for, and what I once believed in. Those beliefs are long gone, and yet for some reason they remain in my heart.

Sadly, these beliefs conflict with the beliefs of the Druids.

I believe that I am not a follower, and yet I am not a leader. Nor shall I be. I have followed men and women to their highest potential, I have followed a path of righteousness since I was young.

This lifestyle of following has not led me to truth, or virtue. It has led me to the border of poverty. It is time I make a change for my own good. This world has me in it for one reason: me. I am sorry that I could not tell you in person, but there are a few things that I now realize that I have to do. The Truth has been shown to me, and it is a horrible truth to some; but to those of us who believe, the Truth is what we are here for.

I leave this note for you to let the others know that I will no longer be within your ranks. I joined the Druids in hope for Truth, and I have found it. Now it is time for me to make my departure as it is. I hope I have not left a black spot on where I was within the Druids.

Always Believing, and Never Forgetting,
