A matter of conscience lay heavily upon the mind of Lord Havel. He had always been one to uncover the truth of something, never a coward, the truth was very much its own reason for doing things. However this temple business squirmed and wriggled its way around inside him tweaking his conscience in many a different way and manner.

Was it worth it? Surely whatever lay behind the massive doorway would be much worse than the Larvae that had emerged when they first discovered the temple, what danger lay within?

Was it really worth the blood that would be spilled? Was the mystery and truth of the thing really worth the cost and risk?

Should they simply collapse the cave entrance and hope to seal it forever? These things all wrestled with Josiah and made him sullen.
