Next up was Baby.fox and DesertIce. With great skill, DesertIce topples Baby.fox very impressively.
Next up for second round eliminations was Lia and Cat Lynx. With a swift blow, Cat went flying to the ground, landing again on her butt. Kotare commented, "fine display of the Lady Regent's combat abilities. Well done." This eliminated Cat from the tournament.
Next it was Porthos and Dev Xyr'Kor's turn. Dev is given a warning for holding back. The next pass, Dev soundly sends Porthos to the ground. Porthos got up rubbing his sore, bald head, and was eliminated from the tournament.
Next in line was Baby.fox and Rellik. Baby.fox swiftly knocked Rellik off his mount, sending him rolling through the dirt and eliminating him from the tournament.
Still reeling from the last bout, Baby.fox was pitted against Dev Xyr'Kor. She was no match for Dev and was sent flying, eliminating her from the match.
Next in line was DesertIce and Lia. The Lady Lia put forth a strong ride against her opponent, however, was not strong enough to stay in the saddle and was knocked to the ground. Everyone present was proud to have the Lady Regent as a part of the tournament, as Kotare put it, "Lady Regent, it was an honor to have you among us." and she so graciously responded, "Was an honor to take part."
For 3rd place, Dev Xyr'Kor was pitted against Keris. Both managed to stay on their steeds for the first and second pass. On the third pass Keris toppled Dev, winning the third place prize of 10,000 gold pieces.
The final joust of the evening to determine the winner was between Lord Peter and DesertIce. Peter was knocked from his mount, which he immediately protested. He claimed he was knocked off past his starting point. After compiling several other opinions it was determined that he was knocked off in the middle and his claim was turned down. He was given 2nd place and 50,000 gp and DesertIce was the champion of the joust and received 100,000 gp.
