STC under new leadership

During the month of February Saints of the True Covenant experienced a change in leadership. Lord Braver took over for long time leader Skirel. In order to bring about this change the guild had a private meeting to which this reporter was invited. STC is a well established hunting based guild with close ties to Yew and Clan Moor. It is one of the first guilds ever created and continues to thrive to this day. The change of leadership ceremony was of great importance to the guild and even those that had passed to other realms came back to witness it and take part in the continued history of the saints. Remembering Kotare

In Serpent’s Hold the Regency held a celebration of remembrance in honor of Kotare. There was food and drink available thanks to the skilled chef the lady Regent hired but most were more interested in hearing of the duke’s exploits. Everyone from Molly to Lord Sid told of their times with the dead duke and more than one tear flowed openly at the tales of remembrance. Near the end of the ceremony elements of the Ebon Skull appeared and called forth a spirit that resembled Kotare much to the horror of those in the great hall. But this spectre would not last long as booming sounds of protest whisked the cultists away. The last anyone saw of the ghost was when Isk fell on his knees and whispered something to the fading spirit. Afterwards more took on a sombre mood and Hugh gave his tribute by means of a song. The celebration ended with success as all present conveyed their thanks to Lia L for making the event possible.

Steel's Funeral

The Zog Cabal held a funeral for the deceased leader Steel on their lands in Felucca. The event was run by Cear. The writer of this article was present for both the death and the funeral itself. The head which had been decapitated when Jode defeated Steel in a duel was layed with the body for the funeral. Everyone got their chance to say farewell. At the end the casket was taken away out of the sight of those in attendance. Steel will be missed by his guildmates.
