As Audrina sat in the Umbra Tavern next to two new strangers, Malorn and Daeynaries, she reflected on the events of the night.

She sat back in her seat smirking, listening to the conversation between Malorn and Daeynaries. Although she was completely embodied in happiness she thought back to her run in with Davaran earlier in the evening. She touched her lips and thought of the kiss they shared. Her heart was now closed to love and she slowly was beginning to believe that love does not exist, nor did it ever.

The high was hitting its peak and Audrina did not want to feel the pain of coming down from that high so she began to drink the ale in the tavern.

Not only did Audrina declare her loyalties to Ceinwyn, lock lips with her ex-husband in the streets of Luna, but she used Euphoria for the first time and bought a small pouch of the substance.

The high made her mind race. All she could think about was what she was going to do in order to prove herself to Ceinwyn. She quickly finished her ale and set out to come up with a plan.

Audrina could not get enough Euphoria, taking it every spare second her immense high would wear off. She slowly found her way to the Umbra Hall and found herself infront of Ceinwyn. They spoke briefly about the new drug and Audrina felt the guilt of lying about it.

I wish our relationship to be one pure and not of lies, so I will tell you now of my addiction to Euphoria.

Ceinwyn told me as well as the rest of the soldiers that we are not to touch the drug. She offered her help to cleanse my body. In an effort to show her loyalty, Audrina passed the bag of Euphoria to Ceinwyn with her hand trembling.

She was quitting. She would not have this opportunity ruined by a drug.

Audrina woke up in a panick, her body trembling and covered in sweat. She immediately jumped from her bed and searched around aimlessly for her pouch. She needed the Euphoria.

"Where is it?! It was just here!", She yelled out.

Quickly her mind began to focus and she pushed the urge to take the drug aside. She knew she had given all of the Euphoria to Ceinwyn. In order to form a loyalty in this new land, Audrina had to prove her strength. She got back into her bed, beads of sweat still gathering on her forehead, and forced herself to stay put.

It is okay. It should not take much longer for this pain to subside.She thought to herself.

After this was all over, she knew her strength would be proven not only to herself, but to those that have doubted her. As she lay in bed trembling she began to think of ways to serve the Matron once she was well again.
