She walked through the manor making the final orders and preparations, then made her way to the roof. Thrax has made her feel so comfortable here. Looking out to the sea from atop the roof garden, she smiled. The wind gently caressed her face and enveloped her in the soft sweet scent of cherry blossoms. She smiled a bit, hoping Thrax would return soon so that he could see what she had accomplished.

This new life renewed her spirit and gave her hope. He even met with her sister's approval. She closed her eyes thinking back to some of her past. The lengths she went through to keep her independence and assert herself. Had she gone too far to get here? She shook her head, no, she had not. Her life was finally beginning to make sense.

Her thoughts drifted a bit to Keldril, and his last words to her. Part of her will always love him she knew this. Yet the matriarch made it so he had to let her go and he wished her to be happy. She was, and as it should be. She was a royal consort to a fine man. He has given her warmth and a place to call home that was theirs and no others. She smiled again, this was her life, and for once she felt whole.

She turned checking all the tables one final time and then journeyed back down to the sitting room outside the bedroom to relax a bit. She'd wait for Thrax to return to discuss the last minute details. She sank in the chair smiling, and knew the next few days would be marvelously enchanting.
