if you played the ultima series you had to learn it or have some way of translating it because many of the clues were in that alphabet.

wow, who would've thought Moonglow would ever be exploded... where would the MTC reside now, do patrols, event's, and everything else we've ever done pertaining to inside the city wise... this blows big time.

Moonglow is only the first according to the conspiracy theorists. Luna may have a fiery surprise in store for it - Magincia and Britain have come up in more then a few conversations as well Wink

It might just be my ignorance of not playing, but this provide ALOT of RP potential. You can relocate, and perhaps, if you have a cluster of houses on the island, you can have a player run RP town, maybe temporarily if they ever plan on rebuilding Moonglow. Perhaps you can run "charity events" in order to raise funds for the rebuilding of Moonglow ( If the devs ever get around to it). There's a ton of ideas that can be spawned from this... Perhaps an orphanage could be built, or a refugee camp, etc etc. Gotta run with what ya got, right?

Then again, I dont play UO, I just got from this thread that Moonglow was blasted to smithereens. Right?

Edit: Just because the town is gone, doesn't mean that players/guilds should just drop everything they have and rejoin other guilds (As much as some guild leaders are probably hoping for). Work with what you have, create some elaborate plots *nudge nudge GMs*. These are just my 2 cents, Canadian mind you, so it isn't worth too much...But it's still a little bit Wink

From what it looks like moonglow wont actually be gone...several buildings look damaged but the land mass is still there. just because of a horrible act of who knows what happens doesn't mean we'll be moving...we will roll with it as long as we have to. MTC will see the rebirth of the city!

The dev team wouldn't delete any of the houses on the island. Like Fong said, the most they'll do is beat up some of the buildings in the town and maybe add like a crater or two.
Removing houses --> pissed off customers.
Pissing off customers = retarded.

Technicly...we could still patrol the city. Patrols for trapped citizens, lost animals, dead people under the rumble..make sure there isnt any of our enemy's trying to scrap up valuables that are buried under the rubble.

If what Fong said is true, the city can still be used..just some of the buildings will be broken and stuff. There for we can still hold events, "Fundraisers" if you will..and other things Smile. The MTC militia will have tons and tons have activities and duties on their hands...and the MTC citizens will be quite busy as well.
