I have not heard that rumor Kali, but whether it be true or not, it doesn't matter. But look at things honestly. If you like finding companionship with others, who cares? I mean, I live by the saying, "To each his own"! So long as it's not harming someone else, what's the problem? ^^

OMG haha yep! it was the only way to end stormhaven, burned down by orcs....*sighs* but it was the only fitting way to go!

I thanked all the orcs for helping me bring a satisfactory end to that rp for me.

Vaen, at first.... ummm... I honestly don't know. Being that i'm the most laid-back guy in the world, and nothing really pisses me off, I couldn't care less how you played. As long as you weren't a nub, which you aren't most of the time.

Ahhhh, =L=. What to say about them twinks? LOL

First off, ALV joined the RP community just as Arcana and the
KoS were exiting were exiting the scene. Arcana was the "Chosen One" in the eyes of ALV to lead us into the world of RP, but with her departure Vaen and the Legion stepped up and became our guides. We learned how to RP and how to fight (enough to stay alive long enough to run away), and Arlin...the Northern Alliance DID work....you just weren't around to see it. Wink

ALV's association with =L= was the best thing that could have happened to us.

As I became more a part of the Community, I heard from various people that the Legion were a group of twinks and cheaters. I think people had issues with =L= for a couple of reasons....some of which already stated:

-They could fight. RP'ers aren't supposed to be able to fight like PvP'ers are they?

-They would PvP in their spare time. The fact that =L= members could be found at the Fel Yew moongate MUST mean they are twinks right?

-They were everywhere. =L= was involved in almost everything going on for two reasons. 1. Because they wanted to be. 2. Because many RP'ers wanted them to be. They were an enthusiastic large RP guild. If =L= wasn't there a big chunk of the Community was missing.

-The paradox......they were disliked because they were liked. How many of us Guild Masters didn't wish we had a guild just like =L=. A guild that could both RP and fight effectively. A guild that could turn out solid numbers at almost every event. A guild that ran some great events themselves. A guild that created a bunch of RP for many members of the Community to take part in. A guild that was so well liked that several members of the Community wanted to either join =L= or have alts in =L=. Was it envy? Not sure myself, but when guilds are struggling to get five people in game to justify a land claim or run a scheduled event, I can see where the successful Legion formula would be admired and hated at the same time.

Well, I came out of retirement for this post, so it was nice seeing y'all. Actually, it was Kuja's posting of some screenshots with Max in them that brought the proverbial tear to my eye. LOL. Ahhhh....the old days.

Nice hearing from thee, Sir Joustmaster. I don't know how good your computers are but if they work for NWN2, we are having a blast over there. I really need to take more screenshots. The only one I have is of a drunken, depressed half-orc saying something rather lewd and uh.. Yeah. Definately need better roleplay screenies. <.<

The last two days we have had no spawn, and no one cares! It is awesome logging in and not wondering what drama is going to crop up, but wondering instead what awesome RP plot is going to start... Laughing

I also just wanted to pop in and say what a blast I had with Legion. Always when we needed something, even if it was a pain in the ass (like taming that nightmare) you guys were always there to help. I made some good friends through Legion and even though I dont play, I still consider you all friends and have missed hanging with you in game or even in vent. Had we the time and capability Max and I would have joined you on the other side hahaha... but sadly we have neither, not right now at least. Maybe someday. Until then my friends I hope everyone is enjoying Uo for what it is.... simply a game. And for those of you that have moved on to another game, good luck Smile
