After arriving in Papua, she went straight to the Inn to get settled and leave word that if Lord Archon Scaramandine came by, that she was in the area per the Queen's instructions. She spent most of her first day speaking with the locals about the new terror spreading through Papua. The locals were terrified, this went beyond the normal ophidian and lizardmen skirmishes. The deaths from what was explained to her were far more ferocious and brutal. The pit of her stomach turned the more she learned of this new adversary.

She walked the swampy trenches and tried to get a good grasp of the town's layout and all the areas where this sort of monster would retreat to. This was going to be a dangerous assignment. As she went to the western edge of the town, she found some of their tracks. These Lycans were no small beasts. From her assessment they were rather large and very strong and she could only guess as to how many there were. She took out a map and began charting the direction the prints went from the main town. She will need to meet with the Archon and discuss what he wished to do. This would need to be an organized effort, any mistake could prove disastrous.

She let out a soft "sigh" and then took in a deep breath letting the heavy air fill her nostrils. Lady Ishtar was right, there was something charming about this area. Now she seemed to understand why she wanted to help rebuild it all those months ago. She smiled a bit as she looked at her surroundings...for now this may be a good escape for her, even if she was here to work. At least she would be able to try and escape her past for a while...
