Dearest Grand Dame, Molly,

It is with great joy that I write to you to inform you that Umbra is thriving, once more, and the city prospers. The investment in tourism increased revenue exponentially, while keeping decorative costs low, due to the seasonal festivities. As such, the economy is, for lack of a better term, booming! The wealth floods into the surrounding countryside like so much cream from a cat's dish.

As a result of this, your protection of the Living Woods is no longer necessary, as a result of the increased profits, we hired on more guards. Umbra, once more, takes up its native duty and protects its people with, no offense to thyself, native Umbrans and not foreign out-sourcing.

We have returned your placards, all but one, which I have kept for nostalgic purposes. I am sure you understand such sentiments. I will gladly reimburse you the cost of the placard. Simply send the bill to the clerical office, upstairs of the Wailing Banshee Inn.
