Vaen glanced around the Legion headquarters, something obviously on his mind. Rachel, after studying him and seeing he is troubled, walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"What's the matter, brat?"

Vaen sighed. "Rachel, I was at a Caravan not so long ago. It was from Felucca Yew.... to Felucca Trinsic."

"Boring...!!"

"No, Rachel. It was ambushed. Many died, and the cargo was lost."

Rachel's jaw dropped. "Oh... uh... I'm sorry."

"Look, we can't let things like this happen. We know how those murderers work, we've dealt with them enough."

Rachel nodded. "So what should we do?"

Vaen thought for a moment. He didn't really have any idea. "What should we do?" He thought. "We could... I... don't know.... think Vaen... think.... We could.... hire. Hire..? Hire ourselves out..! Yes!" Vaen nodded to himself.

Rachel looked at him. "Uh, you gonna tell me what you just thought of, or sit there like you're some kind of genius?"

Vaen looked up at Rachel. "We'll put ourselves up for hire. I mean, I'm sure we'll get a response. We're skilled fighters!"

Vaen, seemingly overjoyed with his new idea, rushed around the house to find a pen and some paper, writing up flyers to put around.

Rachel shook her head and sighed. "That kid and his ideas..." She looked at Valatin.

Valatin smiled. "It is a good one, though."

Rachel nodded, then just watched Vaen as he wrote up some flyers.
