Things have been dry lately. No, this isn't a whinepost. This is a call to action. Basically, please list here... Well, everything pertaining to RP on Atlantic:

RP hotspots and their hot times
Events that are upcoming
Public-ish plots that are going on that anyone can jump in
Etc.

Just looking for a general pool of roleplay stuffs. Might be informative to others.

Actually, things have not been looking very dry, from my viewpoint.

Umbra is embroiled in 2, possibly 3 different plotlines.

Molly has a plot going on right now that, to my knowledge, she will be expanding to involve anyone. Just watch for the clue posts in the IC Tavern.

I will say the Court of Light Meeting last night was actually pretty fun, and it gave me the opportunity to further feed the natural distrust between Sanctus and Luna. Hopefully, that will come in handy in the not too distant future... *schemes*

The Eye of Oggaroth is locked in Yew jail, and they don't even have any evidence to keep him. Helping him may get you in good with his god, Oggaroth.

Pirates are off the coasts of Yew, I wonder what they are up to...

A man is running around assaulting people from Luna down to Sanctus, may be accompanied by a gang, be careful! Road is dangerous, as Molly found out.

We're trying to arrest Tai Kwan Leap.

Lady Savhanna is still in a deep slumber, noone has been able to awaken her, yet.

Thrax's post with the clothing gifts, that is a plot you all can get in on, also. It's going to get heated very soon. Sure to be fun.

I dunno, I keep my guys busy when nothing is going on. I make up things, suspicions, side quests, etc.

I thought it might be a dull week(which turned out it was like major RP in a different place every night), so I started a side plot for my guild, concerning the rift gates and the blackrock.

I'd like to apologize to any of you awesome people that have been coming to Umbra and that haven't been running into us. We have literally been all over the place, due to the various events and RP plots we have been taking part in. We regret that we cannot always be sitting in the tavern, or banking. I'm trying to have us be seen in town more, but with the various sub-plots and preparation for the upcoming ball, as well, we have been Uber busy.

I can't really name a hotspot for RP, as we've been mostly just running into it in various places. I can list the usuals and tell you that things have been picking up a bit. RCL, Regency. It actually looks like a war may be brewing on a few different fronts.

I'd like to apologize to Remi, Kry, and a Gargoyle last night when I was on my way to help a guild mate. I would have loved to stay and RP with you, but he really needed my help. I will catch you guys, undoubtedly, another time in town, or at your residences.

Also, is the gargish town in Ilsh trafficing RP? If so, we may stop by.

All things considered, The one plot I am deeply involved in centers itself between Sanctus and the Royal Court of Light. Both groups have just signed an Extradition treaty in order to pursue, capture and try those would be criminals who commit a crime in one territory, and flee into another. Its a sad day for crooks I tell you. As the one who drew up the treaty, I can tell you that members of the Sanctus Law enforcement, The Military and those from the RCL are vigilent and are devoted to the capture of these devients.

Also while on the subject, Crime is on the rise in the Malas area. This is partly due to various crimminals such as Vash (name was only recently uncovered), Faith (who has eluded Sanctus law for some time now and a few others who are just begining to make a name for themselves as a deviant to society.

The crimes recently commited have ranged from kidnaping, armed robbery and assault to attemted murder and Murder. The victims range from those of Sanctus to recent attacks against the Royal Court of Light. These are the areas in which these crimes are taking place and NO ONE is safe.

So if you find yourself in Malas, walk softly and keep your eyes open. You may be their next victims.

I feel Faith has become unplayable for alot of reasons now, i may retire her or at least take a break from her. I went too far in her criminal activies. Sad

I know that I would RP in the garg city as I have a garg character that has RP woven into that city, but there wasn't any interest in it so I don't actively sit there.

Some of the dryness has been cuased by past events as well. RP drama both in and out of game has a habit of causing issues with RP. This is a huge downside to certain things that have occured. Some past events caused massive friction.
Boards like the Asylum etc. have also at least in my opinion been detrimental to the RP community. Venting about a situation is one thing. Insulting fellow RPers publically is something else. The lack of maturity as of late has been horrid.
Some of the latest plots have been boring or to finish them people who wanted to be involved became unavailable. All these little issues tend to snowball into a large one. This by no means is finger pointing or a way to insult people, but if RP is to survive a lot of us are going to need to atone for past behaviors in a sincere manor.
When trust is breached it is very hard to earn back. As humans we all make mistakes. The ones willing to admit they make mistakes and have wronged others and mean it will have more buy in than those that do not.
The gossip mongering that all of us are guilty of can also cause problems. So do assumations made by others. Hearsay is not the best way to judge others. All this is my opinion so if anyone is insulted please accept my apology. I do feel it needs to be said in order to explain things that have happened. I'd like to see more RP, but even I have become extremely selective in who I RP with do to the above.
