Mallory was exhausted after a day of working with the healers in Moonglow, learning how to heal in more effective ways. She figured that if Sanctus was going to be at war, she would at least know how to heal. She would not be able to fight, but she would be able to heal those that were injured. She had made the decision to relinquish her leadership during this time of trial, and join the citizens and be a healer.

She returned to Sanctus and found a message waiting for her with the seal of Sanctus. She wondered what this was in regards to, and she went behind the hostel to read it. She opened the letter and as she read her heart sank. She was being dishonorably discharged from Sanctus. She blinked back tears and wondered why she had not even been given the courtesy of being told face to face. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Where would she go now? She had sworn her sword to a kingdom, which now no longer wanted her. She folded the letter up and went into the hostel to collect her things. She looked around and thought about all of the friends she had made, the things she had learned, and she again wondered where she would go. She placed the white cloak of the Kingsguard in her pack and tossed it over her shoulder. She opened the front door and looked both ways on the road. She decided she would go to the north towards Luna. Perhaps she would find work with the healers there once again, until her path was shown to her.

Ragnor rode down the road into the Kingdom of Sanctus. Tired and tattered from the day, he couldn't wait for a drink. Dismounting his swamp dragon, he told it to stay and walked towards the door of the hanse. The kingdom was deserted, no one around, not even scouts. He shrugged slightly.

He sat at the nearest table and slouched in the chair. He saw an envolope on the table with his name on it. He peeled it open-took a swig of ale-and read the letter. He was being discharged from the military of Sanctus. No reason why, his colors and his membership to the military were stripped.

"Wha' the 'ell? Wha'd I do? I hun' fer one nigh' and I ge' remove' from my fello' soldiers?" Ragnor crumpled up the letter and shoved it in his backpack. He struted out the front doors, finished his ale, and mounted his swamp dragon.

"Fockin' crock o' crap tha' be." He tugged his hooded shroud over his head and rode off. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself.

Lord Fong stepped through the magical portal and entered the city-state of sanctus. Looking around he noticed the streets were empty and there was no one around the usually bustling town. Turning and walking Fong caught sight of Mallory Rowdep. "Hello Ms.Mallory Semper Veritas!" Fong said walking up to Mallory, she turned around and Fong noticed the sad look on her face. "What is wrong?" He asked. "I came home this evening from working with the healers in moonglow and found a letter from The King and Queen telling me I have been dishonorably discharged from there services." *Her eyes began to well up in tears*
"Did they give you a reason as to why?" He asked.
"No, none at all" she said.
"Do you know where you will go? or what you'll do now?" He asked.
*tears filled her eyes agian* "I do not know" she said.
"Mallory, I have known you for a long time, and you have a home with the council if you so wish, we would be happy to have your skills and loyalty."
"Are you serious? You would have me serve the Council?" She asked him.
*nods* "Most deffinitly."
"Then I accept." She told him with a new look in her eye.
"Excellent! We are happy you have found a home with the Council. Semper Veritas!!!"

Melior Rohannon's spirit floated unseen slowly down the avenue of Sanctus. Lately, they had been doing to others what they had done to him. These latest two, Lady Mallory and Lord Barakos, were now dealing with what he had dealt with so long ago. He had been been discharged without warning or reason from his position as Sheriff of Sanctus.

Synful sat in the tavern and waited quietly for Weston to return from his job, slipping her hand around her mug she froze in mid lift as the word "Sanctus" reached her ears.

"Rumor has it they are discharging people without warning...,"one man said as he played checkers with another who merely nodded.

"Two that I know....I believe one was a kingsguard..,"the tall lanky fellow said causing Syn to raise an eyebrow.,"wonder if it was someone I know..,"she said then shrugged it off,"oh well I am sure who ever it is will get back on their feet as I did...,"she said as she looked up in time to see Weston heading her way.

"Love before we leave I wish to visit my sister...tell her our good news and such...,"she said as he nodded his head and slipped his arm around her waist, leading her towards the door.

The large man rode down the streets of Moonglow. Lost and confused about his next moved he rode towards the water. He passed what seemed to be a large building, and saw MTC soldiers training. He turned his mount around and went back.

"Fong." Ragnor nodded. Fong nodded back. It wasn't long until they were in the basement of the building disgussing Ragnor's recruit. MTC members kept coming in and sitting around while the two talked.

It wasn't long until Ragnor wore the colors of midnight blue and black.
