[Saidhe Skyfire]

Saidhe received a dove with a parchment in its talons. The white dove
dropped it in her lap and flapped its wings out the window of Blackgard.
She sat staring at the parchment for a moment before unravelling it.
It was a message from her husband asking her to meet him in the
Chancellor's office of the courthouse. Her brow furrowed.. What was so
important? She thought to herself.

Saidhe kissed the twins on their foreheads and gave a nod to Ambress,
their nanny.

"I will be a bit Ambress, please look after the children." Saidhe spoke
softly to her. Ambress bowed her head deeply in response.

She flittered her way to the courthouse, something she had not done
since the pregnancy. The wind against her face felt good, and she smiled
a happy smile. As she entered the Chancellor's office, Talon's face looked
grim as he motioned for her to come to him.

"What is the matter love?" She looked up at him, her eyes filled with
concern.

"It is the water Saidhe, you must fix what is done. It is causing to many
problems within the state of Sanctus and must be undone." He said rather
sternly.

"Un..done?" She replied, almost shocked. But.. wasn't love a virtue..
Weren't the people happy to have found love in one another? She was
confused and it showed in her face.

"I can not undo it my King.. It is something that just happened. You know
when a pixie is in love as much as I to you, nature takes its course, and
the forrest is affected." Saidhe looked down at her feet, almost ashamed.
"I will speak to the forrest my King and see what can be done.." She
said softly to him.

"Thank you my love.." Talon smiled at her and lifted her chin, giving her
a soft kiss.

Saidhe sighed and began making her way behind the hostel to the Great
Tree, but not before grabbing several pitchers of water, stashing them
in her home. She poured a bit of water into a vial and made her way into
the forrest.

When she reached the tree she placed her hand on its hard bark and
looked up its height into the branches above.



"I come here with the deepest respect my friends, my family. What has
been done to the water of Sanctus is causing a uproar in our community
and our king has asked me to come here and ask your help." She looked
from tree to seedling, her eyes taking in all of its glory. "I ask you to
please..... no I beg you.... Please return the water to its natural state.
My love has never asked a thing of me.. but this." A single tear slipped
from her eye and fell to the grass as if in slow motion. The moment the
tear hit the grass below her, the vial in her hand began to glow a soft
blue color. She gasped at the vial but could not stop staring at it. It only
took a few seconds for it to return to its normal translucent state.

The forrest had answered and agreed to her plea. She smiled up into
the Great Tree's branches once more, with tear filled eyes.

"You have my most humble gratitude.." Saidhe removed her hand from
the trees bark and bowed deeply before it. As she flittered away, a gentle
wind blew and a females voice whispered, "It will come again next
Spring.. next spring... next spring..." The voice echoed then faded..
