*A small letter is attached to the painting*
Dutchess Molly, it is well known that Kotare was a good friend of yours and even though the two of you were put at odds in recent times the dedication of your mutual friendship shall endure if not in the hearts and minds of a fickle society then in the form of this work of art which I call “The Visitation”. Pointing to the lamb’s head you bring to notice the unusual. As one of the furthest figures from the centre you are at the closest point to the viewer. You are the allegorical witness, both separated and involved in this fictional setting. Detached from the conversation behind you but focussed on the main subject, the good duke, your friend, you present a friendly face. Far be it from your notice that the clock in the background is stoped at the precise moment of the Duke’s death.
I would ask you, Molly, to treasure this piece as it is not just a gift for your eyes alone. Share it with Luna and spread the word of this great leader, Duke Kotare of Yew, because he is a man that deserves to be remembered. There are only four other copies like it.

She accepted the very large package from the messenger. She gave him a days wages for his trouble and brought the package inside. She leaned it against the benches in the grand hall. She removed the note that was attached and looked at it.
Isk...she thought to herself. She didn't begin to read it but instead tore off the brown wrapping paper around the portrait. She gasped and steped back looking at the full view of the amazing work. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she scaned the faces of friends and foes alike, the center of which was her close friend Kotare. Then her eyes settled on her own image. She smiled softly at the entire work in total awe. She then took the note and began to read it. Her tears continued as she read the words, totally shocked at what Isk was saying. She had no idea he was so scencitive and so talented. She thought to herself that he truely, as she had always hoped for each in the realm, had good within his heart in what ever twisted life he lead.
She took the note and moved to her writing desk and began to write.
Dear Isk,
I am truely touched and openly thankful for this wonderful gift. I will place it at the Royal court for all to admire and will treasure it always. He truely was a great man.
Your rendition of his friends brough tears to my eyes and an ache in my heart for all, it is a great loss. He indeed was a close friend.
I find myself wondering also how I missed the goodness in your own heart for you to have produced such a master piece. I am truely amazed and see a new side of you that I would never have suspected.
With heartfealt thanks,
Molly
After finishing the note she called the messenger and asked him to return to his master and take the reply. He nodded and bowed, leaving the room. She then called her own messenger and rewrapped the portrait. She told him to deliver it to the Royal Court building and place it in the court room on the far wall behind the judge's chair. He nodded and picked up the portrait, heading for the door.
"Treat it as if it were made of gold!" She yelled after him and he turned and nodded, opening the door. _________________ Grand Duchess Molly Kaldhel
