Hail all this is Leshok Majere, coming to you with the next issue of the Blind Eye Report! This weeks feature is: The Ostard, Sosaria's un-sung hero's. With this report I hope to show the world a better view of how valuable the Ostard truely is.
When you walk down the road, go to enter a tavern, what do you see? horses, dragons and maybe a few beetles outside tethered to a post patiently awaiting its master's return. Now these are all noble and well mannered creatures, the horse being the easiest mount to obtain, loyal, fast, and full of endurance the horse is a great choice. The swamp dragon, large and in charge! can run great distances on its six legs as well as being able to have armor made for it, allowing the rider further protection. The beetle, the practical pack horse! it holds stuff while you ride it! These creatures you see abound, but I ask you this, where is the ostard?
Now people might say ostards are funny looking, they aren't strong enough, and the such, but they have yet to see the light! Ostards first off come in many different hues and colors, offering a much wider variety than horses, plus they are just as reliable and fast. Ostards can be found just about anywhere from the grassy plains, to the dry destert, to even the deepest forest, you can find an ostard. Then there is a particular brand of ostard, the frenzied ostard! the hunter of the wild, ferocious in packs! Theses critters attack at lighting quick speed and when you pair 5 together, they can take down creatures of superior life in matter of seconds, I mean, try using 5 on the infamous vorpal bunny and see for yourself! Yet the frenzied ostards are not for the feint of heart for they are wild and will attack you on sight, only skilled tamers should try with these creatures, for they are much harder to tame and control than regular ostards. An ostard for every season I say, an ostard for every need.
In conclusion, I hope you now look upon the might ostard with more respect, and when you see that lone ostard parked outside a tavern, you will think to yourself, now that man has good mount sense! Have you hugged an ostard today?
