[Baron Mordegan]

Arriving in Hanse's Baron Mordegan noticed his men had begun to gather for the evening training session each of them wearing a disguise not to disclose their identities.

As Baron approached the table of men one stood up and welcomed him.

"Evening Sir" said Roger De Clare " we are all ready for the evening training session.

"Good to hear" replied Baron as he removed his riding robe revealing his Border Legion uniform.

"Sir" noticed Eisernes Kruz "You realize that it won't be long until someone reports you wearing the uniform of the Border Legion.

"Aye I know" replied Baron " Troops tonight we hide ourselves no longer remove thy coverings and let the people of Sanctus know that we are here!"

People moved in and out of the tavern some taking notice of the men all in Border Legion uniforms

The tavern doors opened and a member of Lord Bailos's Sanctus militia patrol walked in and looked around.

Looking over to the table with all the men he noticed that all were wearing Border Legion uniforms--a crime to do so under Lord Bailos's reign.

Walking over to the table the militia man stopped and looked the group over.

"Good evening...what do we have here a bunch of peasant revolters against the crown?"

Baron Mordegan rose from his chair and made his way to stand directly in front of the militia patrolman.

"Nay, You no longer have any claims to these lands and for far too long have stifled the spirit of the citizens of Sanctus. I am Major Baron Mordegan of the Border Legion and I order you to leave these lands immediately."

The militia man scoffed "Under what authority do you have old man you pose no threat to me."

Baron Mordegan stared the arrogant militia man directly in his eyes. "These lands are now under the control of the Border Legion and Lord Bailos is no longer in commnad of the lands that he stole from the rightful heirs of Sanctus. I again ask you to leave."

The militia man began to back up slowly as the other men of the Legion members rose from their chairs to surround him.

"Last chance to leave" stated Baron as he drew his sword.

"We shall see..." replied the militia man as he began to mutter a spell in ancient tongues.

A battle erupted in the tavern. The militia man flung open the tavern doors and made haste toward his mount while the soldiers of Sanctus persued him.

The militia soldier was cunning in his tactics trying to seperate the group in order to make them more vulnerable which one sanctus soldier had perished. Major Mordegan shouted commands and his troops reacted with great discipline. The battle raged for an eternity around the grounds Hanses and the forests of Sanctus.

Finally the militia soldier fell in defeat.

"Assemble the men in front of the hostel" said Baron Mordegan to one of his men.

The men assembled and Major Mordegan looked them over.

"Good job troops! Tonight we have opened a hive of bees and I am certain that Lord Bailos and his men will retaliate. This small victory that we experienced tonight is but a small taste of the battle that is yet to come." stated Baron while sitting tall on his mount ,"We will prevail for the people of Sanctus now know that the Border Legion is back to give them hope. Go home get rested we have long days ahead. Dismissed"
