DeSiree could feel her life in this realm passing slowly. The thoughts of all those that touched her gave her a warming to know she would carry their memory unto the next life. There was so much she had wanted to say but could never find the words nor the time to say such things. Her thoughts drifted to Treize, Metios, Cloudster, Ditto, Vaen, Baeleron and of course Poet. How could she forget Poet. Her mind was uneasy with the wondering if she ever told Poet the truth. She knows that she had mentioned the possibility..but did she ever tell him that she found out for sure? She gazed down upon the book she was writing to Poet. Her fingers shakingly caressed the words after the ink dried, tears rolled down her cheek. So much she wanted to do..so much she wanted to say. She figured it would make sense to make a small will. She only had one true asset and considering the circumstances, she believed Poet was a good one to leave that one too. After placing the book down and securing it, so that when the time was right, Poet could read it..she got out another parchment and began to write.
I, DeSiree Noire, of sound mind and body do bequeath the Garden of Sin and Pleasure to a Silent Poet. May he keep up the name and company that has made the place wonderful asset to the area. May everyone still beable to enjoy the weekly gatherings of good jokes, drinks and company. I also leave my magical holiday bell to the baby of my good friends Ditto and Cloudster. May it bring him great peace during his most troubled times.
She never made a will before and was hoping that would be enough. She placed the parchment upon the book. Her vision began to blur as her eyes were starting to feel so heavy. Her thoughts were on those whom she learned to love and care for. As her last few breaths slowly come to cease, any that had been with her, would feel a soft warming glow..that would slowly fade. One final tear caressed down her cheek before her eyes became closed for eternity. _________________ "Nature gave man two ears but only one tongue.
