Releaved that Baron had returned to the lands, and the influence of her elven anscesters had come back to her, Aerie had almost forgotten of Bailos presence within Sanctus. She was not even present during the coronation, although was informed later by Zarlox.

She was almost obivious to it all as she rode down the sanctus road, almost carefree. She had spent the last several days practicing the magics of her elven anscesters. She seemed to have a warm, almost intoxicating feeling as she weaved her spells.

As she continued to ride down the rode, weaving her spells, Aerie suddenly became startled, as a dark mysterious figure in a mempho mask appears in front of her. Aerie was abit shaken but recovered herself as best she could. The mysterious figure appoached her. Still startled, Aerie said, "suilad" which was elven for hello.

As Aerie looked down at him from her unicorn, the figure smiled up at her from behind his mepho mask. She had become reminded of the Ebon Skull's prescence in the city. Her new found warmth and excitement all but left her face leaving her features looking disheartend.

The figure, known as Torgan, but still not known very well by Aerie, had asked her several questions that made her nervous inside. "Where do you live? Are you a Sanctus citizen?" He asked. Aerie hesitated at first and then said "Yes, I am." Then he asked, "How do you feel of living under Bailios's rule?" Trying to hold back tears, Aerie did her best to hide her true feelings. She seemed rather timid to Torgan's presence; and Torgan seemed to had noticed. A tendacy to smell fear always made things worse for Aerie.

"Why are you nervous?" He asked her. She told a half truth, "The mask makes you look scary." He replied with a smile, saying "I was hoping for mysterious, but scary would do." He then finally took his leave of her. It left a chilled feeling throughout her body, just being even within the presence of one such as him. She only know Bailos slightly, but had never been exposed to him. As she tried to imagine his being present, she got an even worse chill down her spine.

Aerie then left Hanse and returned to her palace in Northern Sanctus. She took extra precautions, locking every entrance into her palace, but still did not feel safe. She felt like such a coward. "I must be more brave than this", she thought to herself. At this, a single tear slid down her left cheek.
