The previous evening's Court of Light meeting weighed heavily upon his mind. The largest topic was of this Usurper-King Bailos, and his rule over Sanctus.

The injustice of it all screamed at him to be dealt with. He could feel the pull of his natural inclination to do the right thing. There was so much sinister about this "King Bailos", from what he had heard from Lord Zarlox and Lady Molly.

When Zarlox had urged the Court of Light to go to war, Melior's heart had leapt at the opportunity to assist those in need of help.

"I will fight with you! Enlist me!" He had said to Lord Zarlox. Indeed, he would fight in the name of The Virtues. He had every intention of aiding in this war. They would need all the sword arms they could get.

His mind turned to Lady Claudette.

I can only pray that she will understand my need to help, and that she will be supportive. This I do for all those in Sanctus.. Those like her.. but with noone to protect them.
