Dearest Foe,

It is my most sincere hope that this letter finds you in good health, yes, it is true, I wish you for the moment well. You see dearest foe I look to you with an admiration and a hatred at the same time, if any should bring upon you malcontent I wish it to be me, no others, the rest are simply inferior. We are enemies simply because of setting and timing, but as sit here in my chamber and you in yours I realize that we are one in the same. You see we are both devoid of the emotions our respective brethren yield so easily to, I, well I was simply “born” into this world without them, but you, well your path to apathy is much more profound. I know your saga dearest foe, I have inquired of it to many since we first met. Slowly, ever so slowly chipped away was your innocence, your life marred by pain, and suffering. Slowly you adapted, molding your mind to endure, and flourish in the chaos around you. You have known loss, much loss. Loss brought about by Oblivion, and no other. By the machinations of the Dark Lord of Stygia you, the seed of your parents planted in the harsh soil of Sosaria has been cultivated and nurtured, sprouting slowly like a beautiful flower from the most peculiar of places.
You have in one way or another touched many lives, they admire you those who simply wish to live in peace. But they do not see the truth, the truth that you and I see. It is your presence in their lives which brings them ruin, pain and suffering, your presence and no other. But your mean well, and yes that is important. You fight for justice, a concept I grasp rather well, a concept you grasp rather well. Let us admit though that it is your justice and no other’s you wish brought to the realm, justice and revenge for the suffering wrought upon you and you alone. This leads me now to point out your qualities which I so dearly admire…anger, hatred, resolve and malice and deception. Yes deception, you servant of Oblivion deceive the inhabitants of this realm in ways I could only hope to imitate, for as they battle my ilk, the wolves from the outside they notice not the wolf in their midst…you.
I have met with many of your “flock”, impressive, but you and I both know a time shall come when you will in fact be alone and empty once more, they will fall, lost friends, lost loves, lost relations, pain and suffering all for you. But if you must drink poison, let it be from a cup of gold.

With most sincere loathing and spite,
Sethos Artisem

A young maiden brought the package to Alessandra and she looked at it puzzled. A gift? It wasn't her birthday. She shook her head and opened it carefully and was amazed by the craftmanship of the beautiful goblet. She turned her attention to the letter accompaning the package and read, eager to find out who the sender was. The further she read the more horrified she became. She reached the end and was confused as she had never heard of this person and knew not why she had angered him. Perhaps this wasn't meant for her, but someone else. She at once sent messages for Vaen, Liam, Vahn and Mave to try to put some reasoning behind this.

To the honorable members of the Legion of Justice,

Upon my return to Nujel'm I was greeted with a package and a letter, and I am unfamiliar with the sender. Please come as soon as you are able. It is good to be home.

Yours in Friendship,
Alessandra

Mave looked up from his desk as a sharp knock was heard on his keep door. He motioned for one of his servants to open it quickly. When the door was opened a man burst in who Mave immediately recognized as one of Lady Alessandra's messengers.

The messenger came quickly over to Mave and handed him a message which Mave immediately tore open and read.

After reading the message, he let out breath that he had not even realized he had been holding.

"She is alright, there is just a matter she wants to speak about", he said to those servants that had gathered around him.

"Make sure the Lady's messenger is fed and allowed to rest" he instructed as he stood up, buckled on his weapons and headed to the roof to find Belegohtar and travel to Nujel'm.

Walking into the stronghold, a letter was wedged between the doors. Vaen opened it and read it. After thinking for a moment, Vaen still couldn't come up with an idea as to who sent the package, or what it could be.

Quote:
Friend,

First and foremost, it is good to hear from you again. I look forward to seeing you, and whatever may be in this package, soon.

Until then, be safe.

-Vaen

Sitting in his study in deep meditation, Evoroth was startled at the sound of a loud knock at the door.
"Evo." He heard a shout outside and recognized it as being that of a young boy in Skara.
He went to the door and opened it only to find that twas nothing of much importance only a letter from an old friend.
"Come inside" he instrycted the boy as he turned and walked into his study once again, glancing down and reading the letter once more. "This wont take long, allow me a moment to write my reply and you can have it delivered."
"Yes M'lord" the boy responded with much admiration.
After the second scan of the letter Evoroth felt a bit of heartbreak, an emotion he hadn't felt since he had lost contact with Lady Aless a few months prior. Once again claiming her seat as Consul of Nuj'elm and she hadnt attempted to contact him in the least up until this point.

He sat and began writing his letter back on a piece of torn scroll.

Acting Consul of Nuj'elm,

I hope that I am not ignoring a potential threat to you, however unless Vaen Swifatr contacts me himself I will not be coming to Nuj'elm in the near future. My studies are occupying a majority of my time, and I am attempting to unravel a menacing plague that is attempting to control Lady molly. It is my deepest regret that I cannot come at this time Alessandra, however I am sure you are understanding of why I may not come. Be well and do respond if anything materializes that could in fact be a threat to either you or any member of the Legion.

Once beloved,
Evoroth

He folded the letter up and handed it to the boy and gave him a silver coin for his effort.

Alessandra looked at the note from Lord Evoroth and was puzzled as she was unsure how he had heard about the package delivered. She took out a piece of parchment and wrote a quick note in return...

To Evoroth the Elf of The Legion of Justice

Dear friend,

I trust that this letter finds you and Lady Summer well. I am glad to hear your studies are going well, although hearing something is troubling Lady Molly is most distressing. I shall at once send a message to her. Thankyou for your concern for my well being, but I fear that this is a matter of misunderstanding, or perhaps it was merely sent for the previous rulers. I am sure we will find out soon enough.

In Justice and friendship,
Lady Alessandra

Alessandra sent the message with the messenger to Lord Evoroth and she went to the gardens to enjoy the lovely summer afternoon.
